I wanted to surprise a friend with flowers for her birthday. I will say Bella Flora's website was easy to navigate and they were timely. However, the arrangement I thought I paid for was supposed to have bright pink and orange gerber daisies, roses, lilies and carnations, as posted on their website. What my friend received was a hodgepodge of flowers, some pink and orange and then random ones, like the lavender weed, small Lillie like flowers I can get at a grocery store, etc. While the shape of the arrangement looks somewhat similar, the actual flowers used do not. Who would mix pastels with bold, bright colors? I called to explain my disappointment to Bella Flora and they said , "Sorry." Our family had the worst experience with Belle Flora. We purchased a funeral service spray for our mom's service and within 24 hours the roses were brown and really never opened up. Their customer service was non existent and they just made up one excuse after another about the poor quality. They indicated they could not be held accountable for their supplier. I guess they do not understand that once their product leaves their business, it IS THEIR PRODUCT! DO NOT use this business for any services/products-you will regret it It is very disappointing when companies do not stand by their products. Not sure what the NUMEROUS attempts were to fix the problem - especially since the funeral spray was for our mom's service that had already taken place. Thanks for the bail out Bella Flora! When my bf forgot his mothers birthday and realized at 9:30 am on a Saturday we were panicked! We are in California and I always worry about using an unknown florist. As always, I turned to yelp - all reviews were great but few! I talked to the very kind girl who answers first thing at 10:00 am and she was very helpful. When I finished the very specific all white and greens order she quoted a delivery price of $20 to Blaine/Birch Bay which was a big turn off and I explained I thought that was a little excessive as my bf said he thought Blaine was only 13 miles from Bellingham. After cancelling and checking google (20 miles) and calling another florist to see what they charge for delivery, ($20) I found that the delivery charge was reasonable, and I (he!) was not . I called back and apologized and thankfully she was still very kind and had not cancelled my order. I did ask for a hydrangea but don't see in picture, and will assume it's on the other side. Either way, it is pretty and we are glad Bella Flora came through for us. (EDIT: After looking at other reviews and pics I am surprised, there are so few flowers. Do not order from this florist. See photos. The first photo is what I requested from the florist over the phone and showed them online. The second photo is the actual arrangement that was delivered. It is a dismal display. I asked for the florist to duplicate this arrangement from Teleflora called "This Magic Moment". They said they could come close. Judge for yourself. The pictures speak for themselves. It's not even close. I paid $85 for this arrangement and got not even half my moneys' worth. They skimped on the flowers to save cost and pocket the money. The arrangement ordered was brimming with roses. The arrangement delivered was sparse and spaced out, not even close to the model. I contacted the florist and emailed them the pictures. Their response was to argue with me back and forth and defend themselves instead of trying to make it right. There was zero effort on the florist's part to make it right and completely obvious as soon as I voiced complaint that I was running into a brick wall. Not only that, they were snippy and condescending in their emails. So, apart from quality, the customer service is really bad. They will gladly take your money and deliver "something". However, the quality of that "something" is negotiable based on whether they think you will see it or not. I will never order from this florist again and I advise others not to also. You will notice that after the last negative review, they had people (probably friends or family) post several 5 star reviews to counteract them, which is what most businesses do to negate real reviews. Do not be fooled by fake reviews. No matter what the florist says, they cannot repudiate the evidence. If you want your money's worth, order direct from the grower where they ship the flowers via FedEx or UPS. These florists are all scalping people for money. read more

Two weeks ago, I called Belle Flora on Friday (Mother's Day weekend) requesting a bouquet for a funeral the next day. The flowers were fresh and beautiful- exceeding my expectations. So much nicer than the order by amazon ones I've been receiving. Turns out, the flowers were sent home from the funeral with me. As I don't do inside flowers, I gave them to neighbors. The full bouquet was on the neighbors dining table for over a week. Now, two weeks later, the bouquet has been thinned to the few remaining flowers. Incredible. I sure wish I lived in Bellingham.
