After 5 minutes of waiting a guy came out to talk to, after explaining her situation, a woman came in behind my wife he said to the woman do you have an appointment? She said yes 5:00 the guy told my wife sorry can't look at your tire until tomorrow at 5:00. Not a soul was there before the woman with an appointment, BS not ever getting my business! I bought tires here, I took it in for a balance and rotation, and 5 visits later and 2 alleged alignments, my steering wheel is off center, it wasn't until they touched it. 5 visits to get the tires balanced. They put a hammer on weight on one of my wheels despite telling them every visit no hammer on weights. They pulled it off and scratched my wheel. The do not return calls, the store manager can only be reached if she picks up the phone, she has not once returned a call. They have lied several times about doing things. I am fairly sure if they actually test drove my ride, they would have noticed my noisy wheel bearing. I have made appointments for 9 and 10am and my truck is never ready until basically late afternoon. I was yelled at by Stephanie because I brought the truck back in because the tire was out of balance. I am still not sure how that was ok. Basically anyone you talk to complains they are so busy, I don't know why I always need to hear it. Maybe if they didn't have to repeatedly rebalance tires or redo alignments they wouldn't be so busy. They never offered any fix for my scratched wheel, no apology for yelling at me, and they never got the alignment correct. If you do not care about hassles, or damage to your vehicle, sub par work, or lack of customer service, Belle Tire in Decatur Illinois is your place. Ask for Lacy the gm, she is a peach! No one has ever offered an I am sorry. Not one how can we fix this. Just condescending remarks, and complaining of being busy. I just got a screw in a tire and was loosing air rapidly. Stopped in the store to see if they could quickly plug it. The guy says, you don't have an appointment? No, it just happened! He says, you need to make an appointment, leave your truck and it'll take at least 3 hours to do the plug. I've never heard a more ridiculous and absurd way of doing business or treating a potential customer. Clearly this is the worst customer service a business could ever provide. Do yourself a favor and find another business that is actually customer service oriented and willing to help community members. read more

We took our Kia to get new tires and while there had a couple other things fixed as well. Everyone who we dealt with from start to finish was awesome. The prices here are very reasonable, they called every time they had a new issue come up and to let us know the car was finished.
