Been looking for a great dental office since moving here four years ago, think we finally found one. My only issue (four stars instead of five) is they would not accept my wife's pano that was emailed to them before her first appointment. It was taken less than a year ago by a very reputable local dental office and having to pay for another one is redundant and expensive. This is a corporate decision and they should reconsider this policy. They accepted my pano, but not hers, having changed the policy in between my visit and hers. She left the office not having the initial consultation and wasn't very happy. Anyway, keep that in mind. Otherwise, all good.

Front desk super nice tech that did exhaust really nice, but the Dr. thats where my issue started. I came in for a bad tooth to be removed and a consult on a full plate for the bottom told them what I knew wanted to argue about how it would be done, came and explained how my mouth was and told me the same thing I already said.... I repeated that I needed the 1 tooth removed today we would schedule the rest at another time, i was then asked which tooth I wanted extracted.... are you kidding me? Its the sideways one we've been avoiding because of the pain it has been causing, the initial concern that was explained from the beginning multiple times. If you aren't going to listen to the information I have provided why am I wasting my time? Review would have higher stars for the staff that were friendly and listening but the Dr. ruined my willingness to go higher would give less if possible.

Giving birth was easier…read more Based on the "oral surgery " consultation I failed to realize this isn't an oral surgery practice. My fault. Self pay, no insurance. Went back twice expressing pain. Doctor never came in to check, no call to check on post op needs. Used X-rays and tech reports to advise my care. She was wonderful, and not a dentist. Today, almost two months later, I saw my NY family dentist, he removed a small floating bone spur. Determined necessary after a quick physical examination. It took about thirty seconds to remove. Wow! Already feels better. I recommend using an oral surgeon for extraction, and if there are post op issues insisting on seeing the dentist. There was no need for me to suffer this long.

I would prefer to leave zero stars. Be forewarned about this place. When they perform a cavity…read morefilling, they charge the numbing/anesthesia as a separate procedure and bill it separately (Code 9215). That IS NOT standard practice and every dentist I spoke with -- about 10 total -- told me that numbing is always considered a necessary part of the procedure and is NOT BILLED SEPARATELY. Of course it is necessary. But First Choice, unlike anyone else, bills it as a separate procedure. And, of course, United Health Care doesn't pay for a Code 9215 as a separate procedure (why should they. It is ALWAYS considered part of the filling process). My girlfriend was charged about $250 extra for numbing and when she asked First Choice why, they said that they bill it separately. No explanation why. My dentist was incredulous when I told him what happened to her. If you like a dishonest, rip-off business, this place will put a smile on your face. Otherwise, find another dentist.

Had an appointment this morning would never go back. I was offered dark glasses to wear to avoid…read morethe light when I was positioned in the chair and the girl cleaned them with her sweatshirt jacket. I declined to wear them then the Dentist himself came in told me I had an infection but that I didn't need an antibiotic before the surgery even although I have a heart valve. He was totally unconcerned and I have proof that the cardiologist requires that I take an antibiotic pre-med before any dental work. Then I asked the front desk when the appointment was finished to send me an email with the report she claimed she didn't have my email address yet me and my partner sat there 20 minutes earlier and filled out the paperwork together, including the email address no, I would not go back there. I will be reporting this to the department of health.
