Great office. Great staff. Competent and pleasant. Taylor is an excellent hygienist, maybe the best I've ever gone to and I've been to a lot of them. Been looking for a great dental office since moving here four years ago, think we finally found one. My only issue (four stars instead of five) is they would not accept my wife's pano that was emailed to them before her first appointment. It was taken less than a year ago by a very reputable local dental office and having to pay for another one is redundant and expensive. This is a corporate decision and they should reconsider this policy. They accepted my pano, but not hers, having changed the policy in between my visit and hers. She left the office not having the initial consultation and wasn't very happy. Anyway, keep that in mind. Otherwise, all good. read more

When you have to explain multiple times that you already know whats going on because you were at a different dentist within a few years and they seem amazed that you know so much about whats going on in your own head.... frustrating! Front desk super nice tech that did exhaust really nice, but the Dr. thats where my issue started. I came in for a bad tooth to be removed and a consult on a full plate for the bottom told them what I knew wanted to argue about how it would be done, came and explained how my mouth was and told me the same thing I already said.... I repeated that I needed the 1 tooth removed today we would schedule the rest at another time, i was then asked which tooth I wanted extracted.... are you kidding me? Its the sideways one we've been avoiding because of the pain it has been causing, the initial concern that was explained from the beginning multiple times. If you aren't going to listen to the information I have provided why am I wasting my time? Review would have higher stars for the staff that were friendly and listening but the Dr. ruined my willingness to go higher would give less if possible. read more

Shady business practices do not do a deep cleaning with them I say again do not do a deep cleaning with them. they will charge your insurance outrageous amounts and expect you to pay the difference they charged 812 dollars for a cleaning I paid both co pays and when they couldn't collect from Fl blue because they could see through their lies they started threatening to come after me for it. They did exactly what I was afraid of them doing. Do not recommend unless you want to be charged more than what you bargained for. 812 dollars for a cleaning is outrageous. They should be forced to tell you how much they are going to come after you for when they fail to scam your insurance. read more

Never have I experienced such disrespect and lack of professionalism in a dental practice. Scheduled appt times seem of little importance to them. Sincere professional interactions are also lacking. Lots of cheery apologies that don't hide the fact they are they incompetent. I agree with the other reviews about questionable insurance claims as well as follow through on billing questions. If you want a good dentist with a professional and helpful staff, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

Wrong insurance name on my bill and my wife is included on my bill and she has different insurance than I do (what a mess), gave me a bill in advance to sign and the procedures didn't occur after further review from an outside endodontist, insurance denied multiple categories on a bill, overcharging, etc.. In the last 3 years I've used Christie Dental I never had a charge - my insurance paid everything ($0 dollars). Now with new management I've been charged on my two visits plus the above as noted. My second visit to CDBelleview. In my opinion, a really good practice. They do everything right...pleasant, competent staff. No gimmicks and they don't try to upsell anything. They give you an estimate of charges before work begins and they stick to it. Went to Christie Dental today to have a crown reattach. Everyone was very friendly and professional. After a short wait i had an initial exam and shortly after the exam I was given a written treatment plan that spelled out insurance coverage and my obligation after my approval the procedure followed. I was in the office for less than an hour. The original crown was completed in Chicago less than 4 months ago and Christies was so accommodating to take me in right away and also were more than reasonable with the cost. Christie's Dental in Belleview is a dentistry that I highly recommend. They are very thorough and thoughtful with the work they do, they explained everything about my procedure and the cost of it. The front desk/checkout receptionists were also amazing! Very welcoming and very understanding whenever I had to use multiple forms of payments. And Brooke went out of her way to come and ask me about how my procedure went afterwards even though she wasn't even on my case. read more

I came in with no pain and I left with excruciating pain. I broke an existing crown so I went to get it fixed by Dr Abdulrahman Albabbili, DDS, who was recommended by a friend. After the temporary crown was put on, I was scheduled to come back in a month to get the temporary one removed and the permanent one put on. However, I wasn't able to even make it a week due to the pain. I scheduled an appointment to have it examined again. This time Dr Abdulrahman Albabbili, DDS, was not available. The dentist who did examine me said that Dr Abdulrahman Albabbili, DDS, left a root exposed. She stated that she could put desensitizing gel on it or another substance, but "Dr A would hate her for it because he would have to remove the substance before he could put the permanent crown on". My remark was that I already hate him for the amount of pain he left me in, yet she still chose to only use the gel, which did not work at all. Less than a week later I went back again because of the pain. Luckily my permanent crown had arrived, so it would get out in earlier than my scheduled appointment. When Dr Abdulrahman Albabbili, DDS, asked how I was doing, I said not great due to the exposed root he left and the amount of pain I was in. He then began to argue with me stating that his work was "impeccable" and there's no way it could have been him. I repeated multiple times that when I arrived for my first visit I had no pain, and when I left I had to take 3,000 mg of Tylenol everyday to survive. He still argued that it had nothing to do with him. His solution, if the pain continued after the permanent crown was put in was a root canal! I later happen to speak to someone who had also seen Dr Abdulrahman Albabbili, DDS, and they said he did the same thing to them! They went to get a crown fixed, he screwed up, said it wasn't his fault and said if it continues to hurt they would need a root canal. It's been over a week since I had my permanent crown put in. It's much better, but still aches at times and can randomly hurt depending on what foods or drinks I consume. This is just going to be something I have to tolerate because i refuse to go to a dentist office that hires dentists that have proven incompetent in their professional field. If you dare go to Christie Dental, 5927 SE Babb Rd., Bellview, FL 34420, or even worse, seeing Dr Abdulrahman Albabbili, DDS, I wish you the best of luck. You've been warned. read more

Beware of entirely new staff. They are all unprofessional kids running around, including Dr. Allin. Nothing was explained other than trying to go off my original plan and get me to do more X-rays and procedures I wasn't scheduled for. When I asked why they were trying to go off plan, they THEN explained they didn't have my original exam. I give 1 star and only because the front desk women helped calm me down after this dreadful experience. read more

I went in for a cleaning, after waiting 20 minutes or more I finally got called back. I was given a sheet with what they were going to do, being told that my insurance covered it all. They only did the right side, saying since it was a deep cleaning insurance wants it done over two days. I should have stopped then. Went back the next day, waited over 30 minutes, and got the other side done. It did not feel any better than a basic cleaning I have had before, in fact the other cleaning I could tell a difference. I got on my insurance today. It is saying I owe $773.00 Are you kidding me? I will not be going back there, I will let my teeth rot out first. And I am considering not paying that bill, disputing it. This was after going last year and not getting teeth cleaned because they had to get xrays first. Then proceeded to tell me they wanted to do more than $5000 work. Really have been giving them chance after chance but get disappointed. My two teenage kids have there yearly cleaning and I'm back next day with one hurting and the other filling fell out. Go to have filling replaced on wed they charge me 52$ I asked for them to hold (TWO days )till Friday repeatedly asked her she said ok. What happens it's deposited and I'm charged 35$ by my bank. I call them and they once again blow me off. Time to look elsewhere. read more

Be careful when you visit Christie Dental. They are all about getting you in, after that you are treated poorly. No return phone calls, they will send you bills months later with no explanation. Make promises to return funds and never do it. Very, very poor. read more

good dentist, and good hygienist . office staff is totally incompetent. have tried to get account corrected for over three months due to mistakes by christie dental staff. two accounts for one family. billed my insurance company incorrectly multiple times. sent threatening letters for unpaid balance which was caused by there mistakes. final straw, being referred to "collection agency" due to there mistakes. no follow up or resolution after three plus months. absolutely horrible experience. do not recommend. do not go to christie dental. read more

I truly couldn't be happier with the care I get at Christie Dental, Belleview. I'm a relatively new patient there (just 3 visits so far). Appointments are easily arranged at times that are convenient. Costs were clearly explained in advance and coordination with my insurance company was seamless. Everyone is very professional and very personable. I've had two cleanings with two different hygienists and would gladly let either work on my teeth again. Dr. Baratelli was excellent at explaining what work needed to be done and has the best chair-side manner! I never give a full 5 star rating in every category but this office deserves it! read more
