I had a poor experience at this salon and would like to share my experience in case someone else is looking for a new hairdresser in Ponte Vedra. While I have many complaints, the main one is that I did not like my haircut, and even after I tried to ask the stylist to fix it, I was rushed out looking terrible. My haircut was 14 minutes with no wash/shampoo, no blow dry and no products. I was told that the cut would be dry because of my hair type. My hairstylist was Rita who said that my hair type is best cut with dry hair. I have never had that in the past, but I trusted her experience. However, I was very disappointed that she cut my hair so quickly and then didn't ask me if I liked it, I felt like she was pushing me out the door. I have long hair and asked for many layers, lots of layers that are visible and she did not give me that. I had her add more in and asked her to fix a few things 5/6 times, which she did, but with the attitude that I was bothering her. Her cuts are $75 dollars and that's an unfair price for the experience I got. My next complaint is partly due to the coronavirus but it still left a negative taste in my mouth. I called on Friday for an appointment and was told the salon was finally able to use the blow dryers, but to schedule early in the day because they sometimes ran out of sanitized brushes near the end of the day. I came in for my Saturday appointment and Rita told me that was not the case, no blowdrys. I told her that the receptionist told me differently, and her only response was "oh she knows". Therefore my hair looked extremely sad due to the lack of wash/blow dry and products. Overall, I felt very unwelcomed at this salon. I don't like my hair at all and I don't recommend Rita as a stylist. read more

Being a cosmetologist myself I can be very picky about my hair. I have long, fine heavy highlighted hair and if you have or have ever had highlights you know that going to great stylist can be very difficult to find.. not at Bellezza! I always see Ashley D., I have been seeing her for highlights, cut and blowdry for over 3 years now and she nails it every time! I never have to worry about the dreaded "unknown color" while the foils are processing. Always a fresh, healthy cut and color. Another wonderful quality about Ashley besides her consistency is she is very laid back and super sweet! She always asks me how I have been and remembers little details like a party I may have mentioned or a trip. I think these are very important qualities and because of this I am ecstatic that I have found her! The salon is so cute and everyone seems to get along great. They offer beverages and snacks, the latest magazines, including gossip and hair trends. The salon carries Pureology, a sulfate free vegan hair line. Depending on your stylist they offer different hair color lines. They even have Glo Minerals make up! (which I love!!) If you are new to the area, looking for a fresh new look or stylist I definitely recommend this salon! I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! :) read more

After 15 years of coloring my hair with drugstore boxed color, it was truly a "Bless your heart" situation. I called the salon and couldn't get a weekend appointment, but was told Jonna Mills could accommodate me THAT DAY, mid-week! How great! She was so confident that she could correct my color. She surpassed my hopeful expectations! I will only use Jonna from now on and beside her Master skills, it was such a pleasant experience with her conversation and the lovely feel of the salon! The first 2 pics are what Katy (stylist) at Bellezza Salon & Boutique did to my hair Feb 22nd. Pics # 3, & 4 are what I showed her to do to my hair. When the job she did to my hair left me with mousy, ashy, brown hair all over , and my hair is very long nearly to my waist, she said just go home and wash it out over the next 4-6 shampoos if you don't like it. And I was Charged $265.00 for this ugly & awful result. Next Day I contacted Shop Owner, Pam Timberlake, & showed her the pics of the hair color I requested & the awful pic of the color I left her salon with, my hair ugly & ruined. Pam the owner says I don't see anything wrong with your hair just shampoo it a few times. At that point, I asked for either a stylist that knows how to do highlights correctly or a refund and Pam BLOCKED Me when I messaged her this. What POOR customer service, and unprofessional to not have integrity when it comes to delivering to customers what they come to the salon to get & then offer NO resolution or refund!! I will be sharing these pics and experience with everyone I come in contact with so hopefully no one else gets treated like this & have their hair ruined!! read more

If your looking for the best salon and stylists this is the shop for you! My stylist is Rita, and I worship at her chair and scissors! She's a master at cutting all styles and I always leave her feeling happy with a fantastic cut! I've been to a lot of hair stylists over the years, from Miami to NYC and have worn my hair very long and very short and Rita is absolutely the best stylist I've ever had cutting my hair! Actually she use to work closer to down town jax, and when she moved out to Ponte Vedra all of her clients followed her! I wear my hair super short now, and it's so crazy that even with it so super short, there is so much shape and a modern edge to it. I see a lot of women in her chair with long luxurious locks and beautifully cut shapes and styles, and she's an amazing artist! I can tell the other stylist are also very talented and send their clients out the door feeling great too. I highly recommend this establishment! read more

The salon is clean and low-key. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. The stylists are very upscale and professional but not in an over-the-top way, or a condescending or elitist manner. It's a very positive place, not like a lot of salons where the stylists love to gossip about anyone and everyone. My mom should really be their advertising spokesperson! She has been raving about Kendra and, so far, has convinced at least 3 people to go to her. After months of my mom's raving, I finally made an appointment... Well, truth be told, my mom made the appointment for me. Kendra is a young stylist. I'm guessing that the only reason her prices are so low is because she looks so young. It obviously has nothing to do with her talent or commitment to her craft. I have paid 3x as much for haircuts that were not nearly as good. This is a two part commentary; Both are regarding Lacy. I came to Lacy after I moved back to Florida from Greenwich CT, where I'd had a terrible color done at Warren Tricomi which took my chestnut hair with baby lights into a dirty pinky/grey with skunk stripes. I told Lacy to do whatever needed to be done- even if she had to buzz it off. 2 hours later, I walked out with a gorgeous chestnut/sable color with burnt honey baby lights and the perfect haircut that made my "too much/too fine" hair manageable and easy. I was so impressed with Lacy, I sent my mother to her. So, Mom came home from her appointment with Lacy with the PERFECT color and the PERFECT cut (and the results are the same every time she goes). Mom has thinning baby-fine hair and a huge cowlick at the back of her head- so we just assumed she'd always have to check her hair 5x/day to be sure her scalp wasn't showing. Also- mom was told by her previous hair stylists that she wouldn't make a good blonde. So mom resigned herself to never getting to try out being blonde. In swoops Lacy: she * MIRACULOUSLY * gives mom a haircut that makes her hair naturally cover her cowlick (the bane of her existence) and complement her facial features, and makes my mother's blonde dream come true. I think it's called "Honey Wheat"(?) but it's the perfect color for my mother- she looks young and happy and radiant. I would recommend Lacy to EVERYONE and ANYONE. She is incredibly professional, yet friendly. She really listens to her clients wants and desires, and gives them what they want. She is a true artist both with color and scissors. WOW! Where to begin, the absolute best salon experience I've ever had! Trust me, I have been to plenty but now will be a client for life! Right from the beginning they went above and beyond, I couldn't believe it! I had 2 very bad experiences in Ohio, prior to relocating to Florida and I was in desperate need of a miracle! Well Sophia did just that, she was not only able to fix my hair but made it celeb status hair! She was so thorough on what she was doing and why, so I understood exactly what was happening! I honestly felt like family within 5 minutes of being there, all of the other stylists were friendly and complimentary! When I walked into the salon my confidence was at a zero and walking out was at a ten plus! I highly recommend this salon to ALL because they will cater to every single one of your needs! I had driven by this place on my way to work and decided to schedule a haircut on my lunch break. I called and was able to get an appointment the same day with Spencer. He listened to my concerns and was confident in his approach. He did an incredible job with my super thick and curly hair!! Now I want to go back to him for color / highlights. The salon is welcoming and clean, and filled with smiling staff. Prices are reasonable (listed on their website). I had my hair done the other day (a cut and highlight with a toner) by Kendra & she is awesome!! About 3 months ago I had a bad experience at a Regis salon where my hair was cut very uneven and my highlights were thick and striped. I went to Kendra on a recommendation from a friend and I'm beyond pleased! Kendra is sweet, detail oriented, and listens to what you want, not to mention she does a fabulous job. I finaaly, after trying two other salons, found a goldmine in Angie at Belleza. She is masterful with cut and color and my hair is prettier than I have ever seen it before! She truly is masterful at correcting a poor coloring job quickly and is the same with correcting a bad cut! SO Happy I found her! Not impressed with the way the other stylists treat you like you are invisible while you wait, but maybe they are just competitive. Still, it was rude. But I will always go back for Angie! Kendra is one of my favorite stylist and human beings in the world. She listens, studies your hair and knows what is and isn't capable. She is an expert in her field that is never satisfied. She is constantly keeping up with what's new I'm not only styles, color and product through her education and training of not only herself but her staff. I've gone to many that haven't kept up with classes. She has a amazing eye and time with her feels like you are truly with a life long friend. I've been going to Kendra for 2 years and plan on going back for as long as she will have me. She is one of the hardest workers in her Industry with a vision of excellence. Her ability to connect with client and employee is rare. Her ability to make you and her exceptional staff feel confident is beyond measure. On a personal note: I was recently diagnosed with Lupus, I lost a lot of hair and was so self conscious. Kenny made me feel like a beautiful woman and for that and much more I will always call her not only the #1 stylist but my friend. I look forward to time with her. I was in town for the weekend and needed a wash and blow out so that I didn't have to deal with my long curly crazy hair and this place was wonderful! Spencer was so nice and did an amazing job styling my hair exactly how I like it (and I'm picky). Hair looked amazing and the blowout still looks great next day! I was nervous to try somewhere new on a whim but worked out great. It was pouring down rain and Spencer even gave me a cap to wear out of the salon to make sure my hair didn't get messed up. Five stars and very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in town! I've been going to Bellezza Salon, to the stylist Lacy, for over a year now, and I have been extremely pleased every visit! The salon is very welcoming and clean and the people are incredibly warm. The salon is upscale without being pretentious. Lacy at Bellezza is and excellent stylist. She cut my hair from really long to really short, eased my worries in the process, and did a fantastic job. I've been a loyal customer to Rita since 2015. No matter where I traveled in the world (my husband is in the United States Army) or which salon she worked at (I first met her at Aura Salon)- I always made an effort to book an appointment with her when I was in town visiting family. Two weeks ago, I decided to book a flight from Baltimore, Maryland, to Orlando, Florida, to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. Therefore, I decided to maintain my tradition and book an appointment with Rita - but this time, it was for my 10-year-old daughter. For starters, I called Bellezza Salon for about a week straight with no answer, and I also left a voicemail with no callback. Finally, I decided to text Rita's cell to ask if someone could please call me so that I could book an appointment. Once I finally got a callback, I made an appointment with Rita for a blowout, flat-iron, and a haircut, and I informed the receptionist that my daughter would need extra time for her appointment since her hair is thick - which she said no problem. This morning, we left the house two hours early since we are currently staying in Deltona, Florida, which is 1.5 hours from Bellezza Salon. Once there, Rita seemed annoyed at the fact that she had to do my daughter's hair. First, she asked what I came in for - which should have already been in the notes for the appointment. Once I reiterated the services that I requested and Rita started to pick at my 10-year-old daughter's hair in disgust, Rita proceeded to explain to me that my daughter couldn't get her hair done since there was not enough time. Unfortunately, she stated that she had another client coming in soon, and she also didn't specialize in textured hair. Mind you, that's why I had booked extra time for the appointment, and she has also serviced my daughter's textured hair previously. In complete shock, I told Rita not to worry about it, and I proceeded to leave the salon with my daughter. Never in a million years would I want a hairstylist to do my daughter's hair if they don't want to. Back in the car, both my daughter and I started to cry from the embarrassment and lack of empathy shown by Rita. She is someone who I've been a loyal customer to for five years, and she seemed to care less about the hassle we endured trying to receive her services. Not only did she not offer us any form of compensation, such as an alternative hairstyle or something simple as water for the road - but she also has not reached out to me personally to see if we were okay. I thought hairstylists went into this field to make people feel confident and beautiful. However, my daughter left Rita's chair feeling ugly, less than, and not valuable enough to get her hair done at Bellezza Salon. Realistically speaking, Rita had more than a week to call and cancel our appointment if she didn't feel comfortable doing my daughter's hair. Instead, she had us drive 1.5 hours to cancel our services in-person during a worldwide pandemic. That type of behavior is unprofessional and cruel, and we will no longer be visiting Rita or Bellezza Salon. Finally, this is a terrible way to end a family vacation since we fly back to Maryland tomorrow! read more

I've absolutely loved every time I've been to Bellezza! Kendra and the whole staff do a wonderful job to give you a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is very stylish and comforting. Being someone that knows nothing about hair, Kendra was a huge help to educating me on the status of my hair and products that would benefit me. I was feeling bold and do something different and she did an amazing job when I decided to chop my hair into short bangs! She was so open and up for the challenge and it turned out perfect! I got a ton of compliments! She also explained to me the extensions they offer which I hope to get in the future. I took my sister here to pick up makeup for her wedding and Kendra was a HUGE help with their Glo Minerals makeup line. All of the Glo products are awesome and I can't find it anywhere else locally! If you need a new salon to call home, give Bellezza a shot! read more

I visited Jacksonville for my husband golf tournament @ TPC Sawgrass @ Ponte Vedra. I needed a major haircut and can no longer can wait, so I decided to ask Yelp for help. My appointment was @ 10am with Laci. The salon is nice and clean. I have a short hair and doesn't require a special talent. I was not satisfied for the pricey charge. Remember, excellent haircut does not require expensive looking business sign and location. I am not fully satisfied with the stylist technique. Right away obviously not very experience. I found Belleza by searching for Wella salons in the area (Wella makes my perfect color combo). I couldn't have been more pleased! The staff was all exceptionally nice and welcoming. My stylist, I think Paige, was perfect from meet and greet to the finish. She listened to what I wanted and didn't take off any more length than necessary, which is great since I'm trying to grow it out. I don't know if maybe my last stylist I tried elsewhere didn't use the right scissors or technique or what, but this was the best haircut I've ever had! My ends look so much healthier and thicker, I have great movement, and she even gave me some fun new side swept bangs to spruce up my look. Can't wait to come back for a tune up! I've tried a couple high rated salons in the area, and Bellezza tops all by far. I agree with another post's description of a positive environment-it's nice to get an amazing salon experience without th attitude or gossip! read more
