Timing took several months for him to get back to me with a date to get the work done. I eventually made it "in the books" twice, however, he no-showed both times and did not respond to text or call (I could see that he read my texts day of). The second booking, he actually blocked my number when I attempted to call the day of to clarify timing/logistics. I unfortunately ended up burning 2 PTO days to be around to entertain the kids while the yard was off limits. Maybe he under quoted and didn't want to do the work? Anyways, proceed caution and low expectations. I ended up going with a different tree service who were easy to work with and great communicators.

I was not in an emergency but was hopeful to get the tree removed sooner than later. Tripoli's crew stopped by a week later. The arborist lassoed one of my other tree with his safety gear and literally skywalked the horizontal tree to carefully cut the fallen branches. Super cool... looked like a lot of fun! Great guys!!! I would like to preface this review by noting that we did not hire this company for tree removal…read moreservices. However, I had two interactions with one of the owners while the company was working at a neighboring property, and those experiences raised significant concerns about the professionalism of the business. On June 16, my husband and I visited a neighbor's property to collect wood from a pile in the front yard with the homeowner's permission. One of the workers, whom I understand is married to the owner, was courteous and had no objection to us taking wood while work continued in the backyard. About 15 minutes later, the female owner arrived and questioned her husband about who I was and why I was there. Upon approaching me, I explained that we lived nearby and had received permission from the homeowner and her husband to take some wood. Despite this explanation, the interaction became uncomfortable, and she appeared visibly upset by my presence. My husband, the homeowner, and myself finished loading the wood and then we left. She continued to yell from the backyard during that time. Later that day, we returned after another neighbor asked for help loading wood from the same property. Upon my arrival, the female owner aggresively confronted me again and demanded an apology, stating that I had been disrespectful during our earlier interaction. I was surprised by the accusation and attempted to explain that no disrespect had been intended. Unfortunately, the conversation quickly escalated into a heated disagreement. During this interaction, the female owner repeatedly raised her voice, swore, stood close enough to me that she was spitting on me while yelling, and continued the confrontation despite efforts by myself, the homeowner, my husband, another neighbor, and her sister to de-escalate the situation. Everybody present encouraged her to calm down and move forward, but the argument persisted. I was accused of being jealous of "all this" (meaning herself) and then she went on to literally make fun of me because I couldn't lift larger pieces of wood. She obviously doesn't know this, but I've had two spine surgeries over the last 5 years and am physically unable to lift heavy. She went on to demand that the homeowner force me to leave his property (literally screaming and stomping her feet). At one point, a traffic cone was dropped onto my husband's foot (purposefully by her) while he was standing nearby. Throughout both encounters, I was extremely confused about the source of the conflict and made efforts to avoid further escalation. Especially since it wasn't my property and I was concerned about my presence causing them to leave the jobsite prior to finishing. I even went as far as to apologize for inadvertently upsetting her. In my view, the level of hostility displayed was extremely unnecessary and inconsistent with the professionalism I would expect from a business owner. I recognize that every situation can be viewed from different perspectives, and this review reflects only my personal experience. Nevertheless, based on these interactions, I would not feel comfortable, or even safe, hiring this company or recommending its services. Professionalism and respectful conduct are important factors when selecting a contractor, and my experience did not align with those expectations. Over the course of this job, the female owner could be heard aggresively yelling at her husband daily, as well as another neighbor's son for being outside in his own backyard. I wish this company nothing but the best and hope the owner accepts professional guidance to prevent this type of behavior from continuing. However, I am also thankful for her behavior as it likely ensured the company will never return to our street for work.

This was my very first time talking to a tree removal business with Arborists. The person answering the phone is not creating a welcoming feeling. She speaks is such a condescending tone. I was sorry that I called and bothered her at her job (sarcasm) She spoke very fast without any emotion and seemed so annoyed when I asked questions. She didn't even let me finish my reason for calling when she barked at me " Address., Name. " She made me feel as if she was way to busy to deal with a customer. (the reason she has this job) Then when I mentioned that I wanted them to answer a couple questions about some ornamentals, she replied "that will have to be a seperate appointment" I asked why I had to have a second appointment for just some questions. She did not reply. I just wanted to get off the phone. UGH. I have not received a call back regarding any quote appointment, etc. I will not use this company or recommend them. They should rethink how they allow office staff to speak to customers. I am sure I am not the only one that has experienced the attitude.

I used to call them the Jolly Green Giant Trees since they seemed to touch the sky. Lester Tree Service did a fantastic job of taking them down. It was clear they knew what they were doing as it seemed like they had the first tree down in minutes. There were three men that showed up at our house. They were friendly and cleaned up all the extra mess after the trees were down. They even chased my cat for me that got out. They did very good work for not as much money that other companies quoted for taking the trees down. The only thing I would change is to let the people know what day they were coming. We didn't have everything cleared out for them to do their job but they were kind about that and just moved objects for us. I highly recommend Lester Tree Service.
