For context: I live in California and wanted to send my director a bouquet of flowers for her birthday, and came across Bells and Blooms. I placed an order on Thursday 3/20 at 11 PM EST and my order was delivered on Friday 3/21 at 12:30 PM - such incredible and timely service! My director absolutely adored her flowers, and for the price I paid (about $112 including delivery), I think it was so worth it. It's hard to find florists in an area you're unfamiliar with that will provide fresh flowers that aren't wilted, and I'm so so happy that I went with Bells and Blooms. Can't recommend them enough for your next floral delivery, even if you're across the country like me! EDIT: You can still see the original review I posted below. However, after reviewing I was contacted and my order was remedied immediately. The issue lied with Teleflora not communicating the order properly and the florist worked hard to track down the error as well as fulfilling the order correctly free of charge! The florist itself is wonderful, but I would still use hesitation with Teleflora and recommend going straight to the florist themselves! Original: This florist picked up our order we placed from Teleflora and instead of notifying us that they were unable to fulfill the bouquet we had selected, they produced a random one of FAR less quality. Not happy to find out my recipient received a completely different and much smaller arrangement than what we had paid for. Immediately contacted Teleflora to get compensated but will not use either company moving forward. Very unhappy with the product received and complete lack of notification or communication on completely changing our order. read more

I ordered flowers for a friend whose grandmother passed away. I specifically asked for a lower arrangement - all white flowers with some greenery. I didn't spend a fortune - but I was really embarrassed when my friend texted me thanking me and sent me a photo. It looked very messy, sloppy, and sparse. One hydrangea, two roses, a bunch of greenery, and one Zinnia. I could have gone to the grocery store and purchased a more beautiful, full arrangement for half the price. I called and left a message with my feedback and no one called me back to discuss or acknowledge the voicemail. read more

I don't write many reviews, but I absolutely had to for this. We had a close family bereavement out of town, and when we came home, we received the most beautiful Peace Lily plant. Of course it was in a lovely basket , with a pretty bow and thoughtful card from our dear friends, which many florists can do. What struck me was the show-worthy condition of this plant! It is literally bursting with glossy, new leaves, and flowers blooming at their peak. I know these are easy plants to grow, but I've never seen one quite like this. I stopped in to get some flowers for my wife for our anniversary a few weeks ago. They were very accommodating since it was a last minute decision to buy the flowers. I told them what she likes and they put an arrangement together within 15 minutes. They were very pretty and she really liked them. The problem is that the flowers started drooping about 2 days later. By day four, the majority of the flowers were nearly dead. Some of the buds hadn't even bloomed by this point. You would think fresh, $50 flowers would last a little longer than 4 days. The flowers I buy her from Harris Teeter usually last longer than this. Maybe this was a fluke, but its going to be hard for me to bring myself to buy more flowers from B&B after this experience. read more

NEVER AGAIN! I ordered an arrangement from here to be placed in the casket. I chose a picture from THEIR book and simply said, "I would like some red flowers instead of just all white". They looked NOTHING like what was in the picture! NOTHING! They were an embarrassment! I considered just taking them totally out of the casket I was so ashamed. It looked like I had a group of kindergartners made it! Not to mention the flowers were already half dead! Others ordered from them and their arrangements were quite bad as well. Although I have to say ours was by far the worst! The only positive - there was one vase arrangement there from them that was very nice looking. I stupidly ordered a prom corsage from a florist closer to my home. It was terrible, too small, no flowers, embarrassing really. I have gotten corsages and such from Bells and Blooms in the past, so I stopped in to see if they could sell me a few flowers to fix it. They did better than that!
