I tried the blood tonic milkshake after discovering the foul-sounding concoction actually involves hibiscus, rosehip and nettles. Any health benefits were of course ruled out by the ice cream, cream and (giant) flake topping, but it was yummy. Bf got an ice cream sundae, the "small" version being the side of his head (the large is normally recommended for sharing). My dad pounced on some lemon cake which he loved. If you don't have a sweet tooth there are a few savoury options, including a good selection of teas. But it really is a sweet flavour-oriented place - one of my fave features was that you can get a jam sandwich. The price point is really reasonable, sub £3 for the milkshakes which is excellent value, particularly considering you are in such a pretty environment. Fantastic wooden pew-type benches, ancient soda syphons, antique counter and display material - everything is just so wonderful.
