While…read morethe christian education aspect might be a drawing point for a lot of folks, their is just too much your child will NOT receive at Evangel Academy. First of all, there are no teachers, and no formal classes. Everyone gets packets with which they must teach themselves, because of this, it takes some people 6-7 years just to finish high school. Then there is the education, the information contained in the packets themselves. This information is so outdated and erroneous. For example in science class at evangel, they teach the world is only 5000 years old (not millions, the go so far as to say that all scientists who have dated our planet as being older than 5000 years is incorrect. Apparently thy think the dinosaurs were just walking around a few thousand years ago. They also teach that there used to be a huge magic canopy covering the earth, and when that canopy disappeared, it caused moses' flood and also was responsible for why people n the bible lived hundreds of years but we dont. This may all sound find to you, but I cant stress to you how ill-prepared and awful at school your child will be when its time for them to go to college. In fact, theres a pretty good chance your child will never make it to college if you send them here.
