I heard about PRP and was a bit skeptic about it. I finally agreed to try it. Let me tell you it is the best treatment. The ortho Dr said I would have to keep my arm next to my body for 6 weeks. I didn't have time for that because of work. I finally went in to see Dr Bethea. She did my PRP on my right shoulder and right knee (due to a fall) in 2016. I was pain free until I fell and tore my rotator cuff yet again. Again the Ortho Dr wanted to do surgery. I went back for PRP in June 2020. My right shoulder is pain free again. I started experiencing weakness in my right hand and being a Phlebotomist my hands are my living. I decided to try PRP in my hand. I now have full use back in that area also.
