The mixologists and servers are nice people. The food is okay. Cocktails are not so bad. If I lived in London I would visit again. I think they have a DJ two nights a week. There is a hostel in the same building so many of the young people come down to party on DJ nights. The party is always live. Mondays are $5 cocktails all day (awesome), and talented entertainment one day a week. Super clean facility. The only advice I would give is to broaden the menu. read more

I don't know why people were not giving this place a higher rating. Based on my personal experience here, I am giving 5 stars for the services. Honestly, It is a little slower than US. However, the staff's super friendly and suggested food and drinks which I enjoyed very much! It did get a little crowed after 7:30pm on the Monday night I visited. It played mostly popular oldies. I booked a fancy dress party for my 30th here and I have to say everything that I sought in the venue, belushis offered. Facilities TV screens (my content) Music (my playlist) Decorateable room Beer Pong Good lighting What more do you need. I went in and met the staff before hand to check it out, and they had already preprepared a super hero themed cocktail menu as per my request... But they'd gone all out. Staff What amazed me about here was that every single member of staff was kind, helpful and friendly. They supported me above and beyond with some Av problems, they reassured me when I was worried about identifying my guests for minimum spend,and staff kept popping in to check we were ok. Vibe If you want a laid back sports bar this is good. Personally not a massive fan of the sports element and there was a big game on while I was setting g up the demographic was intensely male. Its cheap and cheerful and the food is bar snacks of the same type. My superhero themed party was a stressful event because the staff there were amazing, For my night it was 500 minimum spend for the room, with 30-40 guests having cocktails from 7pm, we had reached it by 11ish. I would say it's a good deal, and for me ended up being significantly easier to host there instead of my house! read more

This place is dependent upon what type of night you want to have and who you are with!! It can seem quite a civilised place if you enter after work or during the day. You can order standard bar/pub food - the nachos are particularly good and sometimes if you fancy fried food the fisherman's basket is also tasty! Most recently a friend and I were having work drinks across the road at the Slug and Lettuce and decided we wanted to 'carry on' (not that we needed to!). We had to pay to get in as downstairs is a club. So we entered, loud pop music playing, people dancing and singing having a good time. We felt quite comfortable and managed to get a high table and stools to sit at, enjoying all the energy and hilarious dancing! However downstairs was scary! You walk down a set of stairs into an underground area of people dancing and many just slumped up against the walls leering at all the women. Eat breakfast here before leaving London and honestly best decision ever. I stayed at the St. Christopher's Village Hostel and you get a 25% discount so the food and drinks comes out super cheap. My friends and i ordered 3 Americano breakfast which consisted of eggs, ham, sausage and pancakes in which was delicious. I literally ate everything. With the 25% discount we paid 12 pound for the 3 americano. Literally such a great deal! read more

My biggest criticism is that the music volume level was so loud you couldn't hear the person across the table from you speak even when shouting. Otherwise, a decent late-night pub. read more

Went to Belushi's to watch sports and get some bar food. Found the place to be great. Many TVs to watch, including a tv at each table. The staff we pretty responsive to our request to change the channel to American football and on a Sunday night they had an amazing selection of American football games as well as NFL Red Zone. The food was pretty good bar food, I recommend the African chicken wings with peri peri sauce. The beer selection is very good as well, although you have to go to the bar to get it, which is how many London pubs work. I would without hesitation go back! read more

Looking at the other reviews this bar doesnt get many stars but when I was there I had a great time. I went to meet my friends who were doing the Karaoke on a Monday night. Too many good singers for me to have a turn. The girl behind the bar got up to sing . They have the regulation Aussie barman There is a hostel upstairs so lots of young tourists but also regulars who have been going for years . It was packed with young and old and everyone was in high spirits . Toilets were clean enough and the staff were friendly and relaxed. I only went in the main bar so havent seen any more or eaten here but the drinks are cheap! The doormen arent scary and if it wasnt a school night I would have stayed till closing at 2am because like I said the drinks are cheap! read more

The bar was crowded with office workers looking for a cheap date, and thouroughly loud. The hostel next door gave everyone their first drink free; most backpackers, if they deigned to enter the domain of the drunken City boy quaffed their one pint of Carlsberg and ran fleeing for their ears. It's two story...the upstairs was not super crowded, but as my friend was trying to gather a few chairs for us ladies, he started to get heckled by a few "locals." Uncalled for. So I was down in London Town visiting various peoples and crashing at a mates work apartment in the city centre, we wanted somewhere near the apartment and simples. He'd been inhabiting this place for the last few weeks and rated the food. On entering I was dubious it had an air of Wetherspoons walkabout feel, but I was simply after somewhere that would serve me a pint n some grub I wasn't seeking out gems. The food does not feel like its come from the place you're sitting in, it's pretty tasty food and can't have been a one off as, I'd said my friend had been there most nights for the last few weeks, tasty, well presented, good value, can't argue with that. Drinks selection definitely better than a Walkabout, on the two nights we ended up at this place I was on the murphies or Stone Ginger beer, drinks prices were the same as if I'd been drinking in Manchester so again can't argue with that. Definitely aimed at a young/tourist crowd - with a supremely cheap happy hour, garish décor (yes, including a set of traffic lights) and a variety of entertaining theme nights. The attached hostel, with something like 300 beds, brings in a diverse crowd of high-spirited tourists, creating a lively atmosphere on any day of the week. We ran a charity event here, and were very impressed by the large downstairs area we could rent, which includes a bar, TVs and even a small projector room in the back. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful and put on some absolutely kick-ass drinks deals that really helped make the event - in the way that only very cheap booze can! It's not a British pub and doesn't try to be... I'm not sure what it's trying to be, but if you take it for what it is, it's a good time. Karaoke is a great time if you're into it, though when I was there, the moderator was a bit of a stick in the mud (he tried to control too much). Drinks were decent priced for the area. read more

Quite frankly this place is a rip off. We were staying in the hostel above, which gives you some coupons to use at the bar. There was one, for two double drinks for the price of one. We got two single drinks. Then when we ordered food we ordered the shareable nachos for £12. When it arrived it the waitress was shocked of the small portion we had been given, saying "I definitely didn't think it was that small". She said she would look into it and never returned. When we asked another waiter he too seemed shocked at the size but when said he would go ask, never returned. They pray on hoping people will just get drunk enough on the drinks that are cheap in comparison to close places, that no questions will be asked. But as soon as you do, they retreat with the inability to give answers. In addition to the fact that they try to screw you out of what you pay for, it took almost 45 to get our two appetizers that we ordered which seemed a bit ridiculous for nachos and a quesadilla. Bright side? The pulled pork quesadilla was actually pretty good, but not good enough to make up for all the other short comings. Save yourself the hassle and just make one at home. read more
