Referred through a BNI group but I really wish I had shopped around. They say it is "all about relationships" but then when you are unhappy, he doesn't care because the deal is done. Ben did not seem to do any work. I basically had to tell him what properties I wanted to see. He would check to see if they accepted FHA, which most wouldn't, but nothing else. He did not explain to me fully how the process worked when offering over appraisal (that you had to pay up front what you offered over appraisal. He knew I was a first-time buyer with no experience, yet I believe he took advantage of that. Had I not found the home I am in now, I would have fired him and found a new realtor. The mortgage guy he works with, Joe, also doesn't seem to care about clients, even if they have a bad experience. Basically wash their hands of the situation and move on as if everything is fine. The only offer to make things right was to pay for my home warranty for a year, but the company they chose is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I paid over $8K more than I was expecting out of pocket because of their lack of communication, but they seemed to not care. read more

I met Ben over 2 years ago when I knew that I would be purchasing a home.
