This business is obviously suffering, stained carpet, cracked and buckling tiles, the bathroom is in the back of the store next to the dirtiest sink I have ever seen. With a shelf of chemicals sitting over it. While looking at the fabric I heard the manager call one of the employees stupid and when she went up front he made derogatory comments about her to an older female employee. I was so upset I left without making a purchase. I can see why people bypass this store in favor of bigger box stores. The only saving grace was the "stupid" girl the manager didn't like, as I was walking up she asked how I was, if there was anything she could help me find, and when I said no she was very sincere in telling me to have a great day. Long story short, don't waste your time supporting this business when they can't find a manager who respects his employees. read more

To say in a word, Horrible! I went to A-Z because they are…read morelocal rather than drive 10 minutes to a well known embroidery shop. I had heard good things about A-Z but now I am questioning those people's opinions! I asked to get USS Chippewa Valley stitched with 3/4" white lettering across the crescent opening in the back of a baseball cap. I wanted large letters that would span the width. "No problem!" I was told. Today when I picked the hat up, 1 WEEK LATER, it is messed up! First thing I noticed was the bad stitching. The V and A in VALLEY is spaced as if 2 words. The ALLEY is spaced correctly. The cap actually reads USS CHIPPEWA V ALLEY. But that pales in comparison to: THE LETTERING!!!! The lettering is 1/2 inch and scrunched across the top spanning barely 3 inches instead of what should have been 6". OK, fine. A mistake was made. Things happen right. I walked outside quite mad but not wanting to make a scene but a moment later returned to ask why these things happened. They then informed me, too late I may add, that what was originally wanted isn't possible. She can't do more spaced out lettering across the entire crescent opening. I asked why the messed up stitching and "the machine must have caught it funny." Yeah, funny...... Not my word. My word.... Horrible, or maybe garbage. If I was offered a refund then maybe all is well but not so much as an "I'm sorry." Save the hassle. GO ELSEWHERE!!!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my questions. Even though they were booked out, he put an estimate together asap and after comparing it to two others, I pulled the trigger. He guaranteed me he could squeeze me in and he did just that, staying in great contact all along the way. He and his team completed the work and it looks amazing! There was once small issue (needed a bit of dirt filled in in some low spots), and Adam made sure the team took care of this as soon as the weather permitted. I'll need more landscaping next summer, and I just met with him today to discuss the project and get another estimate. I'm confident in FC's work and know their pricing is very competitive.
