Benchmark Law holds an incredibly special place in my heart and this is why: A few summerrs go, my parents had been in a bad car accident. We had never dealt with anything like this before, and my parents being non-English speakers and low-income made them a particularly vulnerable target for a dishonest and neglectful law firm who thought their case was not worth the follow up. However small it may have seemed to that law firm, the case absolutely devastated my family. My father, who is 76, no longer works and receives small social security checks, while my mom, who was the one largely hurt in this accident, missed a lot of work, had to attend physical therapy, and was absolutely overwhelmed with hospital, ambulance, and other bills that we could not in any way afford. I was in the middle of going through college during that time as well so the amount I could help them monetarily was so limited. While the first law firm we approached dropped our case just over a year after it was opened, my parents had completely lost hope. I decided to do a little research and I am so grateful that I did. I found out about Benchmark Law which was local, well reviewed, and even my early interactions with Kelcie to ask about assistance in Spanish for my family were warm, welcoming and reassuring.
