Many leagues use the fields and there are signs saying unauthorized people aren't allow on them. So I guess it's not a place for pick up games. The hiking trails aren't anything exciting, just little paths going around the fields and along the Pawtuxet River. Lots of bugs and poison ivy this time of year and the paths are pretty overgrown. A pleasant little park for the youth leagues but not a whole lot to offer to the casual visitor. The park is a nice place for the local community and leagues to play organized sports but not much else

It's in the same complex as the town owned buildings. There is a baseball/softball field, basketball court, multi-purpose field, pickleball court, and playground. The facility was very nicely maintained. It's a great spot for recreational activities. We were there for the playground and the kids loved it. The playground is not fenced it but it's in good shape. I liked the bench built around a huge tree right in the middle of the playground. Overall, a good spot for the townspeople!

Play structures are fun for the little ones, plenty of things to climb, slide on and swing on. The parking lot is descent but on game nights I see this being filled and parking probably goes down the residents streets making it a tight drive. The play area doesn't get plowed in winter so its full of think ice making it an ice skating rink so be careful. It's also nested in a residential area so expect people outside mowing lawns, shoveling, smoking cigarettes etc. other then that the park and field is cute and a fun time anytime a year. Been twice this past summer and today playing on the swings with my little one. Enjoy!

It is a large dog park with plenty of space for your furry friend to run around. They have the double gates and even have a lost and found box which I thought was super cute. It's a clean park and has a couple of seating areas. The park is just one large enclosed area so there isn't a separate area for smaller dogs, but all the times that I've been there, all the dogs have gotten along just fine and the owners all seem to be nice and responsible. Initially, the dog park can be hard to find since it is tucked away in Haines park. It is behind 2 baseball fields and the parking lot for it is down a dirt road. It is a great place for your dog to go and socialize or to run around to his heart's content !
