He even helped with choice color by suggesting colors and was very patient when it took us forever to pick a color. Horrible experience, purchased a piece of equipment from Nexus. Skid steer 50hrs on it basically a…read morebrand new machine. I dealt with Ashton the owner of the company he told me to come to his customers house as this is where he currently had the machine. Upon arrival the skid steer was blocked in the garage by a zero turn that he supposedly didn't have the key for. I was only able to power the machine on and move the arms up and down, seemed fine. I've owned 3 skid steers just like this one. I got my trailer and returned, I assisted him in clearing a path to drive the machine out. He insisted he drive as the property was pretty packed. I witnessed the machine jump when he loaded it onto my trailer and when he went over his customers new concrete pad (cracked it when the bucket jumped by the way). I just assumed he didn't know how to drive it as he was loading it in the wrong direction (loading forward) and throttle was all the way up. He assured me the machine was in good working order. I paid him and I then drove it straight to my job-site and upon unloading it I quickly realized that this machine is unworkable. I'm a heavy equipment operator with 10 years experience ZERO ACCIDENTS. This machine is completely uncalibrated and could very well kill someone. Bucket jumps at slightest turn, hand controls lose power and then gain unexpectedly even at low throttle. I called him immediately and requested to bring it back, he declined and blocked me on all platforms. I don't know how someone could even have the conscience to sell something like this as a workable unit. I know I don't so I will be taking a loss on several thousand in repairs if it can even be repaired. He seemed like a good guy, played the part real well. As contractors we have a duty to be honest as people trust us with not only their properties but their money and this young man has proven to me just how dishonest, careless, and inconsiderate he is just to make a buck and put his problems onto someone else. Not smart, I'm sure I'm not the first and I won't be the last. DO NOT TRUST.
