If I could put in zero instead of one, I would. I found a home to buy for $159,900. I hired Kelli Paul with Bender Realty to work on my behalf to get this home. She told me other buyers put in bids for this house, one being $165,000. I told her that I am putting in an offer of $167,000 and seller pay closing costs. Without my knowledge and without my consent, she wrote up the contract for $177,000 and then took off $500 as a repair reduction. Bottom line is that Kelli Paul with Bender Realty added $17,100 to the original price instead of the verbal contract/agreement of adding $7,100. I did not know until the day of closing why she did this to me. It was done to line her and the other realtors pocket with $10,000. As I looked at the document for the first time I realized she deviously increased the selling price of the home by $10,000 for her gain. I didn't want to go through with the sale. But, I panicked and signed the contract anyway because I had to move out of my already sold home within 5 days. On September 17, 2021, I texted Kelli Paul and stated that I do not want any surprises on closing day. She stated that she will get the title company to draw up and send me a preliminary closing document. She did not do this. I did not see the document until closing day, October 19, 2021. She had plenty of time to do her job and get it right for me. Instead, she kept it a secret until the last minute and swindled $10,000 from me. Do NOT hire Kelli Paul or anyone at Bender Realty. They will NOT work for you. They will take advantage of you. I contacted a lawyer. But, since I panicked and signed on the dotted line, nothing can be done and I have lost thousands of dollars. I have, also, lost peace of mind. I have not been able to sleep since this horrible ordeal. I can not think clearly, I have continual panic attacks and severe depression has set in. read more

One star, since I cant give no stars. we worked with Bender back in 2015 Billie Stevens, to say the least was not happy with the results, and or our realtor not having the back bone to stand up to unrealistic requests from the seller, we had agree to multiple requests from the seller, the last one broke the camel back to say the least. Seller requesting for us to pay $500 a month in maintains fees, to increase earnest monies. No backbone from Billie Stevens from unrealistic demands. Our contracted, section 6 states: Seller agree to give buyer 48 hours to honor this agreement if another acceptable offer is received. In the event that the Buyers cannot honor the agreement, the sellers will refund all lawn care expenses incurred by the Buyer plus earnest money. Well we never got back our $1000 dollar earnest money. read more

I moved into a property here for rent that had a "first month free" special. I moved in on the 17th and instead of giving my 30 days free I got 13 days. The place I moved into is very simple and it had not been cleaned well. The cabinetry is old and water damaged, and the house was INFESTED with bugs. It has been one month since we moved in and we still see cockroaches in the house. The problem came from the neighbors who hadn't cleaned/kept up with their maintenance. I called property management about it and we had to wait with all of our kitchen supplies stored in my car for weeks while the bug man sprayed the place. This has been on going now and we still see at least 3 or more bugs a day. Take caution when using this company Bender, step it up and get pest control on staff, this should be knocked out, not left to devalue your property. Yuck. read more

They breeched their own contract twice while I was living in a duplex. It had mold that came through a week after we moved in. Cigarette smoke coming through the vents and walls. Yellow stuff leaking everywhere. Doors molding. Bugs appeared just a couple of days after we moved in. They hardly did anything. Argued that it was smoke coming through though the proof was clear as day. Refused a refund back, and said since we've complained so much we have two choices. Stay and deal with it or move with absolutely no refund. Though by law when you breech contract and don't stay true to your lease, you refund the money back... We had to throw away our furniture and my sons dresser because of the leaking stuff on the walls and the mold that spread all in my sons room. They tried treating us like we didn't know anything, but my father works in the mold business and he seen it everywhere in that house. When we was told it's just an old duplex and it'll have smells etc. it was the worst living experience I've ever been through and my kids. So greedy, and refuse to make anything right. The lease was a bunch of bull because they don't honor their contracts or word. We documented everything as did they and wrote everything on our inspection sheet so there was proof. Still nothing done. Horrible place. And service. Disgusting homes. read more
