Removing the tree was not the issue we had with this company. Our issue was how our lawn was treated during and afterwards, and how rude and unprofessional they were. They initially began the removal by using mats on the ground but I guess I done point they gave up on using those and decided to drive across the lawn with their almost 11,000 lb Caterpillar which completely destroyed the yard. After they left the first day the crew left multiple water bottles and trash in our yard as well. When the job was finally completed they left that same 11,000 lb piece of equipment on the lawn for 5 whole days which during that time it also rained heavily. We called daily to get them to remove it. I would not recommend, or use this company again.

I was told it would be a one day job. On the scheduled day, I finally called them at 2:00. Yes, they were still coming. They got here at 2:30. Worked hard and well, but then left without a word a bit after 4. Leaving several logs and a huge tree trunk on my property. No call. No explanation. 6 days later, they showed up again, unannounced. Took away the wood. But didn't grind the stump as contracted. Left again with no word. Maybe, in theory, they will return someday to finish the job. Obviously they either don't know how to make a phone call, or else they just don't care about their customers.

The area with the trees was near a shed that I was afraid could be damaged it any happen to finally fall that way. Ryan came out on 6/23/2026 and quoted a fair price which I agreed to. Being that the one tree was a"Widow Maker" that precariously leaned off to the side of the shed, Ryan offered to do the job the next day and arrived early with his professional and courteous crew. The job was completed in four hours and they removed all debris and cleaned the site with blowers. I couldn't ask for a better job and will definitely use them again for other dead trees I have remaining out back, but not endangering any other property.

I have nothing against him and forgive him for refusing to enlist me with his insurance company and so I was never covered, consequently. Cons: I did not get disclosure about a) possible tire damages on the lawn to the 1 ton truck. It just sorta pushed over the dirt and it became mountain-like in some areas and grass stopped growing (at least temporarily... we'll see overall). No apology was made on this and his response was that "I'm trying to take advantage". BEWARE: Before the job begins, he should provide a document from his insurance company recognizing you as his client. This is not what he may prefer to do even if he knows to do the right thing. Also, a disclosure on the fact that no debris cleanup would be made on my deck and roof was never discussed. It would have been nice for him to tell me (disclose) the mess to expect after the tree is cut, because my tree hovered over the front of the house. advise that I'd have to hire someone else to clean up the hefty job. No warning about the in between deck slabs either. I would have preferred disclosures to put tarps like painters do over affected areas, and perhaps it should have been a courtesy on his part. I hired Jeremy, the owner of TLC, to remove three large trees from my property. Jeremy showed up on…read moretime for the estimate and seemed well-spoken and knowledgeable. Although TLC wasn't the cheapest estimate, I decided to go with them anyway. It was stated in the contract that I would keep all the wood, and the crew would cut it into 16"-20" pieces and stack it. On the day of the removal, the crew showed up two hours late with no phone call or text. I was nervous that they weren't going to show up, so I called Jeremy to touch base. The crew finally arrived, and I went to my neighbor's place just down the street. A few hours later, I saw two trucks leaving my lot loaded with two large tree trunks worth hundreds of dollars in hardwood. I confronted Tom, the site foreman, and he said, "I didn't think you would mind." and said he would "knock a few bucks off the price". I called Jeremy, and he apologized for his crew stealing the wood. He said this has never happed before. While we did come to a discounted price, in retrospect, I should have filed a police report. If you hire TLC, keep a very close eye on their crew. They are obviously not trustworthy. If they were willing to steal from me, it's possible that they have done the same to other customers as well.
