I saw Kate recently and I wanted to share how grateful I was for my experience with her. We had a counseling session to see what was going on in my life and how we could go about regaining my clarity and confidence. She helped me realize that there was a lot of past trauma that I had to forgive myself coupled with the bitter truth that my self-destructive tendencies may not have been my fault but is ultimately my responsibility to address.
