While the venue might be on the smaller side (it's a small town vibe, so it adds to the aesthetic of it all), everyone in the play (The Secret Garden) absolutely gave the show their all. Phenomenal cast, venue, and the whole sort. They were talking about their next play in October and my friend and I are already waiting for the date so we can set it in the books to come up. The views are outstanding but you don't have to go "on base"to view the Rockies. All-in-all if you are not interested in Military it's pretty Dull ,,, if you are Military minded , it's thrilling. A military ID is required to shop at the BX /base exchange, so again, your experience here may depend on wether you are in the "gun club".

We, as a family have donated many times and they hve always been so friendly. They even have a shop that all proceeds go directly to things that are needed for the community. Tri-Lakes Cares has been working in the area for over 20 years. It's much more than a food pantry. It offers senior supplemental groceries. It helps families with emergency groceries. It also has a medial clinic. They offer well baby visits, sports and general physicals, chronic illness care, immunizations, and they have a flu shot clinic. There is a work force center, extensive job base center, computer trining center, GED, Susan's Closet (Wardrobe to work), Budget counseling, and post secondary Assistance Program. They have a school supply program and a Christmas Angel tree for the children. Also, AARP Tax aide. What a wonderful local program for local people.

The ladies, Mrs. Stella, Eileen, were very patient, nice, helpful and informative about everything we were doing. They asked questions, kept the kiddos engaged. The also had a raffle for gifts at the end for the kids. They also provided snacks and something to drink at the end as well. The kiddos got a little medal after completing with a certificate for a ice cream cone and we got a gift certificate to use at their thrift store. The overall experience was great. The place was clean, neat easy to find and fun.

I looked on this company's website and was SO IMPRESSED with the fact that not only do they offer a grocery store to families- FREE OF CHARGE- but also a thrift store! So many "charitable thrift stores" are no longer charitable anymore and are more concerned with making a profit. The mission of many companies that run thrift stores now are no longer being upheld. However, this place holds up their mission! When I pulled up, the line was 1/4 of the way around the building. There were volunteers assisting the patrons, and also helped me figure out where I donate. They were friendly and they were interacting with the patrons in a very respectful manor. The entire system with entering the facility seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. The donation area had neat bins clearly labeled. I was greeted by John and handed over donuts I had picked up for the volunteers as a thank you. I interacted with 3 of the volunteers who were all so gracious and I could not praise this charitable organization enough! If you can only give to 1 place in your local community right now- give to this place! It is a worthy cause!

I was looking for a table and they had just gotten in a big load of school lunch tables and he said 100 dollars. It was a fair price for something so big and sturdy and was for a good cause so I agreed. I did end up having to get a few sticks of chewed gum off the bottom but that's ok. The men were nice and helped me put it in my car. They weren't pushy to buy other things and let me leisurely look around. The reason I deducted a star is when I gave the man the 100.00 he just put it in his pocket and I thought does this charity have any sort of accounting/bookkeeping for what comes in/goes out and where the money goes? I don't begrudge the guys if they do take some for their work and time but him just putting it in his pocket made me somewhat question the operation. It was a neat place to look around, lots of different kinds of items and my experience was overall good and pleased with my purchase.

This was my daughter's and my first time here and we didn't really know what to expect. I have a small amount of experience with horses and my daughter has zero experience. They made us feel very comfortable. They were very knowledgeable and taught us so much. There were four horses to see, pet and spend some time with. We did yoga at the beginning, then had time with the horses, then more yoga. The yoga was right in the pen area with the horses and the trees and fresh air were so peaceful and a lovely experience. The communication was through email and was very clear and timely. I did not bring cash to donate, but I will do that. I would love to come back. Thank you to all of you. *Just another note, I have had a recent passing of my Dad and the horses brought out emotions in me that I needed to release, then the feeling inside was so peaceful and understood. I am not sure how to explain it, but it was a lovely feeling that the horses gave me what I needed. Again, thank you with all of my heart!! My daughter absolutely loved it and said that the horses felt very different than what she thought they would feel like. Big hugs and love!!!
