I had been looking for a siding company for a while and was relieved to find a company that came highly recommended from a friend. I could tell from the first meeting I had with them that they were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and their quote was thousands of dollars less than the other company I had talked to! We live hours away from their headquarters, but they had no problem traveling to us. If I had not known someone who had already used them, I might have been worried that it was too good to be true, but they delivered in every aspect. They were meticulous in their work, and their attention to detail was exceptional. We were so impressed with the siding, soffits, and fascia, that we decided to have them give us a quote for gutters as well, and we added that to the project. I have since found out that in addition to windows and siding, they have crews who can do any kind of construction work, and we plan to have them back to help us with the other projects on our house, including new windows, in the future. I would trust them with any job at this point, and I don't think anyone else can beat their prices. I recommend them to anyone looking at any construction job. They are fair, honest, skilled, and pay great attention to detail.

The ones that did replied (some well known named companies) wanted an armed an a leg and only for 6 windows. But all those became irrelevant once we started working with True Value World window and siding. The owner was out there day one answering questions explaining all about the windows and giving us our quote. Profesional, friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing blew the others out of the water! He presented us with options and we decided on the platinum windows which we are in love with. True Value World were extra quick to order the windows. We signed the contract for work, payed the down payment, they handle the city permit and within 2 weeks we were ready for install .. which took 1 day for 14 windows! They stand behind their work and commit to addressing all if any issues! The windows look amazing and with the lifetime warranty I feel sure of the decision to buy. To Whom It May Concern:…read more This is a forewarning if you are looking to replace and/or repair a roof, fencing, gutters, or any contracting job in the McLennan County area. We hired JAC Roofing and Exteriors in Hewitt to replace our roof that was damaged by hail. They came recommended by my insurance company representative. We have several reasons as to why we would never allow them to enter onto our property again, nor would we recommend them to our worst enemy. The last item we requested they fix is the disconnected vent to our gas water heater that was left disconnected along with ceiling damage by them. We contacted JAC and sent photos notifying them of the damaged ceiling and disconnected vent - no response from JAC which is what we've learned to expect from them. We don't want to write a book but the many lies they told were so compounded it was ridiculous and would take far too long to list them all. If they won't give you an itemized bid up front, run! All work is done utilizing outside contractors with little or no supervision by JAC, they only act in the capacity of middlemen, they do nothing hands on. (I believed I was hiring a roofer, not someone who would hire a different roofer of their choosing and at my expense) I would very strongly suggest that if you are considering hiring this crew who use Colorado, not Texas paperwork, please contact the following agencies for your personal safety: Texas State Insurance Commissioner's Complaints, The Roofing Licensing Enforcement Center, (they are not licensed), the RCAT - Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (they are not a member), the Hewitt Chamber of Commerce, Waco Chamber of Commerce, BBB and Yelp. There are several other and I'm sure more reputable roofing companies out there. I would highly recommend you do your homework, contact all available agencies, and ask for local recommendations prior to hiring any one of them. They should have sent someone out to the repair the condition in which they left our home - we had to take care of it ourselves, on top of all other headaches they provided us.
