Bryan is top notch! My boys enjoy sitting in his chair. Post Modern Barbershop is clean,…read morecomfortable, and has products Bryan uses to purchase. Do you like Black Rifle Coffee? You can get your bags of coffee there at the Shop. Affordable prices. Great hours. Booking online. New clients are welcome. Bryan doesn't just cut hair, he takes the shape of your head and molds the cut to fit your head. You won't find any cookie-cutter haircut from him. He spends 30 minutes with you, so he isn't rushed. He is very personable. I highly recommend this Barbershop. You won't find a better shop or Barbers

I missed my appointment. I take responsibility for that. What I will NOT take responsibility for is…read morethe completely unnecessary and unprofessional way this business handled everything afterward. I received a reminder text that morning that simply said I had an appointment at 12:30. It did not say Post Modern Barbershop, did not say haircut, and did not identify what the appointment was for. Coming from a random number with a link, I genuinely thought it was a scam text and ignored it. At 12:42 -- 12 minutes after my appointment time -- I received another message saying I was a no-show and would be charged the full service price. That's when I realized what the appointment had been for. Here's where I have a serious problem: they charged my mother's card. My mom's card was only on file because she previously paid for my son's first haircut. The last time I personally got my hair cut there, I paid cash. Yet somehow her card was charged for MY missed appointment. Naturally, my mother called because money had just been taken from HER card. Instead of simply handling the issue professionally, the person who answered was rude and dismissive toward her. She tried explaining the situation, including that I'm a veteran with PTSD and could have been having a bad day. His response was essentially that he's a veteran too. Great, but that had absolutely nothing to do with why she was calling. She wasn't trying to have a competition over who is a veteran. She was trying to explain the situation and find out why her card had been charged. He agreed to refund her money, and shortly afterward I discovered that my account now literally says "Bryant (Banned)." So apparently ONE missed appointment is enough to permanently ban a customer, conveniently right after my mother called and had them refund a charge made to her card. If that's truly this business's policy, they should be upfront that one mistake means you're no longer welcome. If it isn't their normal policy, then the timing of suddenly banning me immediately after my mother disputed the charge speaks for itself. I actually liked the barber who cut my hair, and I honestly doubt he even knows any of this happened. I would have had no problem apologizing directly to him for missing the appointment because his time was wasted, and that part is on me. But there is a difference between enforcing a reasonable no-show policy and treating people disrespectfully. Life happens. People forget appointments. A professional business can address that without being rude to someone's mother and immediately banning a customer after one mistake. I was prepared to own my mistake. Apparently this business isn't prepared to own how they handled theirs.

Aidan is the best! Moving states made finding a good barber tough, but he fixed my haircut with care and professionalism. Highly recommend!
