My partner and I had WAY too much fun (not literally; the limit on fun doesn't exist) meandering this garden and delighting in all the different sculptures. The park is extensive and beautiful. We also had so much fun taking a just-us train ride around the other side of the park that went towards a good cause. Definitely stop if you're in the area! It's bigger than expected so take some time to really behold all the amazing sculpture work there!! Would love to move to Loveland one day! read more

I was in the mood to explore before I hit up Bucees so we found this sculpture park in Loveland and it was a very nice walk. There were lots of unique sculptures from animals to people. It's a great park to bring your dog. It's quite big and spacious so you can get a nice walk in and get your steps for the day. My dog had a lot of fun. We had a fun photo shoot with him. If you're in the area and need to kill some time, this is a great place. And it's free so always a bonus. read more

A great collection of sculptures in a city park. It is free. There must be a hundred sculptures of all types throughout the park. A lot of animals and children plus some more abstract pieces. Most are cast in bronze I don't know how far we walked to see all of the pieces but it wasn't too bad since it is pretty flat. Definitely worth a detour! read more

An incredibly fun sculpture garden to take a nice stroll. Right across from Loveland Highschool is the Benson Sculpture Garden which is magnificently huge. It actually extends across the road into the housing development as well. I could've easily spent at least 2 hours roaming the different sculptures, but I only had a certain amount of time before I had to leave. It just seems endless and ongoing. This park is fun for all ages. There are several sculptures that are interactive like the Circle of Peace and D.R.s Saddle. I loved reading all of the names of the sculptures and was pleased that there was braille for people who are visually impaired. I'm certain that this garden makes for beautiful photo ops when the flowers are in bloom. There are several ponds and bridges as well that add to the landscape. Also, would like to mention that this garden is very well kept. I didn't see a single piece of trash or anything out of place! Make sure to get out here on a nice sunny day and check this place out! Heard lots about the sculpture garden so my wife and I took our first trip to Loveland (from Estes Park). Not what we expected in Loveland! Absolutely beautiful. Grounds are a bird sanctuary and sculptures were carefully curated to blend in with the environment. Sculpture were stunning. Tended to be more traditional but edgy enough to keep me engaged. All sculptures were clearly carefully selected for their artistry. Too many to see in one visit, so we'll be back. read more

Wow wow wow. A gem in the middle of some neighborhoods, this is a perfectly sized park with benches, shade and dozens of different sculptures. Nature, still life and a little whimsy in this beautiful display. My kids request the "park gallery", and we gladly oblige. Paved paths, covered picnic area and facilities. read more

This garden was not in our itinerary during our visit. On the way back from Rocky Mountain NP, we drove by this garden and decided to stop by the following day. Such a beautiful way to spend some time outdoors I went to the park to visit at night just because I was short on time and couldn't bear the thought of leaving Loveland and not checking this park out the sculptures were all so unique and beautifully put together I wish I had the time and light to take pictures of each and every single one of them there's so much to see and do it has you running around all over the park looking for answers of who made it and when it was placed the beautiful art is a wonderful way to get a walk in for the day even at night with the light provided you can still have a great time read more

What an amazing little find on our way to The Rockies!! A sculpture garden was on my list of things I wanted to do with the girls this summer and we just happened upon this one. Way cool! Cue "Twilight Zone" music! If you're heading near Estes Park, take a moment to stop by here. It's an adorable FREE sculpture garden right in Loveland, on the route into The Rockies. It won't take you too long to see it all, but boy is it fun! There's a sweet little pond in the middle and I believe they host wedding and such here as well. There were some tents set up when we visited. It's located in a residential neighborhood and parking is only allowed on one side of the street which wasn't an issue. There were a few people taking a stroll around the grounds early on a weekday morning. It's definitely worth stopping by!! It's hard to believe there was no admission cost because these sculptures are really amazing works of art. It was nice to see all the different styles too! It kept things very interesting! Suits both modern and traditional tastes. read more

This park is a must - whether you're visiting or just looking for a peaceful location for a walk.

This is easily one of my favorite just so happened upon places in colorado. I was in the area for work one day and while heading to my appointment I saw a quite large and impressive bronze statue, I thought it was quite impressive and wasn't sure how something like that could just be on a street corner, and then I saw another and another and so on. I went to my appointment but told myself as soon as I finish I'm coming back. I walked the whole park in amazement, how could the entire sculpture exhibits section from defect from a museum and be dropped outside for free public consumption, I would easily pay admission for this. Loveland is home to the sculpture guild and really goes the extra mile to support artist with several funded programs and grant, this spot is home to an annual event that is a must see if you're in the area. I have come here countless times from Denver just to see certain pieces again, and you can't go wrong getting thirsty after walking around so I recommend crow hop and loveland ale works to quench your thirst. If you have anyone in your life that loves art and they haven't been here, load the car now..... I hear banjos read more

We are a group of lunch group and since the pandemic we have been meeting at Benson with our sack lunches. Social distancing and wear masks when not eating. This is a beautiful park and very peaceful. Sculptures galore. Visit, you won't regret it. We are just enjoying our picnics at Benson and aren't jumping to get back into a restaurant. EXCELLENT Driving north on 287 we keep seeing signs for Benson Sculpture Park. So at the signs we turned down 29th St, as we had plenty of time. Am I really glad we did. This is a excellent chance to see a wide variety of beautifully crafted sculptured bronzes. There are many animals & people. And a wonderful children's area. Plan on spending a couple of hours in this well maintained garden. read more

Despite my sunburn [Oh Colorado sun, thou art cruel], the sculpture park was probably one of the most uniquely enjoyable things I managed to do on my trip out to Colorado. As others have said before me, any visitor must extoll the wild variety of bronzes placed ever-so-carefully through the grassy park, some lifelike, some abstract, some elegant, some down to earth. Even the variety of the peoples represented came across sharply, notable for its rarity in honoring those often ignored or badly stereotyped. The solidity of bronze over stone or other material also lends itself to the child-friendly nature of the place, and it was heartwarming to watch my friend's towering toddler clamber over the wolves as easily as he did the odd climbing tree. The plants, too, are pleasantly mixed between curated beds and wild native species, arranged to blend smoothly by the paths and around the water. read more

I am a sculptor and art collector. The reviews I read on this park were totally understating how incredible this place is. They have over 150 pieces, with the entire collection worth over $4 million. I could have spent an entire day looking at the collection. The placement of the pieces, as well as the grooming of the park are Disneyland perfect. read more

ATTENTION ALL FANS OF PUBLIC ART/SCULPTURE!!! What an amazing find in this fairly small town. The Sculpture Park around Benson Pond is simply impressive. There are MANY works of art featuring many different styles. I love the fact that they are willing to show off the human body, conservatives be damned! Once the warm weather sets in and the area greens up, it is a wonderful way to spend an evening. Just don't forget your mosquito repellent! NOTE: There is a large art festival here every summer. Worth the admission fee!!! read more

We were driving around Loveland, looking for another attraction, and found this place. This was a wonderful find in a small town. The local artists did a wonderful job of creating whimsical sculptures. We spent 4 hours looking and photographing the sculptures. The price is very affordable.... FREE!
