From the rolls, we ordered Green Dragon Roll, Red Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, and Fire Dragon Roll. When the rolls were served, the avocado, salmon and shrimp used in them were so fresh that we put in another order only for maki rolls. The waiter, however, was extremely rude. He came over and told us, in an unpleasant tone, that we had to finish all the food we ordered, or we'd be charged extra. We agreed, trying to keep the atmosphere positive. When we continued having our lunch, the waiter returned to remind us that we couldn't take any food with us and had to eat everything on the table. When I reminded him that you already told me once and there is no reason to repeat it, he said he I didn't repeat it, I only told you twice. On top of that, when I asked for a manger , they said they don't have a manager. When I asked for the owner, they said the owner is out of country. This was the first time we've ever been spoken to in such a condescending and rude manner. It wasn't about paying extra, but rather the disrespect and offensiveness of the staff that ruined the experience. We ended up paying for everything but decided to leave without eating. The staff's behavior was completely unacceptable. We felt uncomfortable and even worried that the staff might do something to the food out of spite. To make matters worse, my 3-year-old even said, "This place is bad." This establishment claims to offer an "all-you-can-eat" experience, but their real goal seems to be to charge customers while preventing them from enjoying the food. If you can't run a buffet properly, then don't advertise it as such. And if you're going to impose such strict and rude policies, at least treat your customers with respect. We will never return and strongly recommend that others avoid this place as well. It seems our experience aligns with the negative reviews from other customers. I have been to several other all you can eat sushi buffet but never got a feeling anyone was keeping tabs on how much you are eating. But if you want to see that in action, go to sunshine sushi in ancaster. Beware, stay away from this place as far as possible!!
