Main reason why is, since I consume raw sushi I am certainly cautious. One of my classmates told me it wasn't bad, therefore, I became more open to it. The tables are communal, but have plexiglas dividers between parties. We ordered: miso soups, California rolls (my younger daughter's only choice), gyoza, shrimp temporary, and the sushi sampler. The sushi was HUGE rolls, with generous fish on even more generous rice. It was tasty and fresh and held together well. The only dissapointment was the gyoza. My wife described the very finely minced filling as tasteless. And the price was very reasonable, given what we have been spending inVienna. My friends were happy with their bulgogi, but from the small piece I stole I would rate it as average. A little more fatty and low quality meat than normal for me, and not as grilled. At the end of the meal, we got a complementary dessert of fried banana with honey drizzled on top, which was yummy. They also accept credit cards. Overall, for an Asian restaurant that serves a variety of cuisines, the quality of the food rates high for the price point. It's definitely not an "authentic" place for sushi (women behind the counter appeared to be the sushi chef and the staff was Chinese), but who really cares about authentic as long as you enjoy the food?! A room in the back reserved for special occasions, with low lighting, sunken seating and an amazingly relaxed feel. What happened next was unexpected to say the least. The manager/owner entertained us constantly with games of rock-paper-scissors, dancing, jokes and even a strip tease! He was the life and soul of the party. Jagermiesters were given and drunk left right and centre as were his own special schnapps served in wooded boxes. The food was exceptional, so much sushi and extras and wine and fun and smiles. There were 10 of us in the group and honestly we couldn't have drunk, ate or laughed more than we did that night. The service throughout was exceptional, fun, friendly, efficient all that. When it came time for the bill it was simply split 10 ways and at first I thought they had made a mistake...... 30€ was all they were asking per head. We had drunk at least 10 bottles of wine, numerous beers, had a sushi ship starter that on the menu cost 60€ and each had a main course of our own! WOW. i would have paid just that much to sit in a corner and watch the show. The place is ALWAYS packed and I can see why now. Reserve at least 2 weeks in advance and if you're looking for a special meal with some friends then beg for the dark room.........
