I wish I could say "no matter what the company did" because they said in the lease that the units would be sprayed for Roaches quarterly. Spoiler alert, that was a lie. And the property manager Robert literally told me while I was signing my lease "if you see bugs, you probably brought them with you because we just sprayed. I should've left right then and there. My dishwasher was broken the ENTIRE time I lived there, no matter how many maintenace requests I put in and how many times I personally spoke with the office. In the winter, I hope you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and a shovel. You'll be shoveling your own parking spot and your own road, even though that should fall under the property maintenance team. OH and get this, even though I haven't lived in that shithole for over a year now they are trying to come after me for "unpaid rent". The NEW PROPERTY MANAGER LISA, who wasn't even working there during my lease, is "going off records" to find anyone who might owe money. And since the previous property managers were shit, Lisa apparently thinks I owe her company money for rent i "didn't pay" in February. Keep your receipts if you choose to live here. And be prepared to share your unit with Roaches. ​

She had been abandoned by her family and wanted to move back where she grew up. She did not have a picture ID or a birth certificate so flying her home was impossible as TSA would not have let her board a plane. With the help of Care Patrol of Appleton, WI, we contacted Ron Braun at Care Patrol KCMO. Ron made multiple visits to see her and arranged for her to move out of her Kansas City facility. He volunteered to drive her half way to Oshkosh to Iowa City, IA where I met him. He packed her belongings into his SUV and then drove her to Iowa City and then right back home, a 10 hour trip for him!!!! Afterwards, he arranged for her assisted care apartment to be cleaned out. To say this was above and beyond the call of duty is an understatement. The sacrifice and care Ron demonstrated to us was incredible. Needless to say, my friend, her new assisted care facility, and I were simply blown away by what Ron did. Thank God for Ron Braun and Care Patrol KCMO. Do not hesitate to contact them for assisted care or nursing home placement needs. I gave them 5 stars only because that's the maximum rating, they deserved 10 stars!

I initially reached out to Stephanie in 2018 simply to provide transportation for my mother to/from doctor appts, shopping, etc. since my sister and I live out of state. Little did I know at that time, Stephanie and her team would become an integral part of my mom's life journey. My mom wasn't sure what to expect (nor did I), but we quickly grew to trust the team and my mom absolutely thrived under their care. She liked the independence and support that came with their visits and, at the same time, they were great listeners and advocated for her needs. As her health declined, my mother moved from an apartment to assisted living and eventually to a skilled nursing facility. Stephanie and Debbie were there every step of the way to support her in transition and to keep my sister and I informed of both her progress and any concerns that arose. In her last year, Debbie visited my mom several days each week, bringing her foods that she loved, helping her write holiday cards and notes to those she loved, reading/studying the bible with her, and spending quality with her. These visits meant the world to my mom and, in fact, they formed a bond so tight that Debbie spoke at my mom's funeral. We am SO incredibly grateful for the services and care that Pathlight provided for our mom. Their compassion and commitment to excellent care made this experience priceless. Words truly can't express how thankful I am that Stephanie and Debbie came into our lives and cared for our mom in her final years - I would HIGHLY recommend this dedicated team to anyone looking for a caregiver!
