So I have a flat, simple gravel driveway. It was overgrown and I wanted it re-leveled so the slope was away from the house and fresh gravel. Well, he sent me an estimate $1750. The job was SLOPPY AS HECK! The edges aren't cut clean, the drive clearly needs more stone in spots (he even admitted that), and I can't even open the side door to my house. Then he sent me a text before leaving and said it was gonna be $500 more because he forgot to put the paper on the estimate, had to get 6 more tons of stone and used extra labor to accomplish it. Uhhhh...your inability to estimate and provide an accurate price is NOT my problem. AND you should've made me aware BEFORE you were getting ready to leave. Not sent me a text while I was in the house. So what we have here is a crappy job that I already paid too much for...and now you want MORE??? I will have to get what was done fixed...and I won't be paying anything additional. Just look at an example of one of the edges in this picture...would you call THAT a clean edge? I think NOT. Would definitely NOT recommend this company. At least NOT for driveways!!! The point of YELP is to provide an honest review of the service according to the customer's experience. After posting this review, he blew up my phone with texts and offered to fix it, demanded the payment and offered to charge me more for fixing it...but just in materials. No thank you, sir. Bad service, do not use this CLOWN!!! Dishonest, money grabbing, POS. Too expensive and never did his job right. Ruined the lawn.

Since posting this review, the owner has contacted me several times, stating that this "should have been handled man-to-man." I found that framing unnecessary and unprofessional, especially given that the review reflects my actual experience. Due to recent threats of legal action over my original opinion, I have been documenting communications and recording calls. I'm comfortable standing by the factual details of what occurred.
