You know... I didn't actually fool around with Dr. Berger (who's like 90 btw) contrary to what Ryan C's review might make you think. However, I was extremely skeezed out by the interest he took in the stretch marks on my breasts (I gained weight, it happens). Please, Bergy, just check out the moles and be done with it. Leave the fondling to Ryan. The only benefit to the visit to the Berg-man was that I was able to doctor his bill to look like a doctors note for a quiz I missed. Fortunately, I didn't actually have to show the "note" to my professor, but I have to admit the work was pretty impressive. Oh, also he left me with the very helpful advice to "keep an eye on" the mole on my back. Okay, I'll be sure to do that... when I grow eyes in the back of my head. read more

I started going to Dr Berger when I was 16. My last visit, he looked at my chart in shock. It had been exactly 30 yrs I had been seeing him. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. When my husbands brother died of melanoma several years ago, I immediatly took my husband to get a full exam, and Dr Berger found cancerous spots, caught early and took care of them . And like the review above, he was told to watch moles on his back. As Dr Berger explained, that's what your partner is for. My sons go to him now, and if I had a daughter I wouldn't blink an eye on sending her in for a skin exam. read more

This is the doctor who took the lead in Lyme Disease. He knows more about it than most others. His bedside manner isn't cosy, but he does know what he's doing skin-wise. read more

Here are the IMPORTANT things to know about Dr. Berger: He saved my life by identifiying and removing a cancerous Melanoma about 10 years ago, and has since been my dermatologist. He is Excellent. In addition, though he is older, he is still a triathlete, stays on top of the most cutting edge medical techiques and info, and is a true gentleman. Also (though he does not mention this) he is one of the leading experts on Lyme disease in the country. I take offense with the failed attempts at humor from other reviewers and felt compelled to speak in this man's defense. read more

would not recommend this establishment to anyone and I will not return Had a mole removed from the…read moreback of my ear but it wasn't completely removed after I said I would not like to have it at all after I was asked if it was ok to leave the flat part I also had some bumps treated with a cautery pen which costed $450 my nose was not numbed and it was quite unpleasant I had a larger bump removed from another dermatologist which didn't hurt at all and it was put through my insurance I just paid a copay for my visit then after the doctor burnt my nose she used a vbeam at a very low setting which did absolutely nothing to my redness on my nose this also costed $450 some price tag for absolutely no results I have since been to a different dermatologist which cost less and have seen a huge improvement after just one treatment

If you're going for periodontal work, it's already the future and tech is the way to go. 5. Why not go to the first periodontist certified to do so From the initial phone call with the receptionist (10 for her alone ), to the consult, procedure, and post-op visits.... service with a smile pun intended. I was assured it would be comfortable, pain free and so it was. Full mouth LANAP was done in an hour and change. Three little very bearable pinches on the surface of the gums for anesthesia (which was one of my main fears from '04), no sweat. Dr. Lerhman made sure I was cool calm ans collected the entire time. Explained what he was doing step by step throughout the procedure. Just from LANAP, within three months, my teeth have shifted closer together and my overall health has gotten better. My gums are as healthy as can be, mouth is clean, teeth stains from tobacco tea and coffee are gone! 16 years of unhealthy periodontal disease reset in an hour. I am disabled along with plenty additional health problems and even the accommodations to the limitations of my life have been attended to. Please don't listen to the trolls. I'm a satisfied ACTUAL patient.

By of an apology, he said, "I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding," Whats more, the crown was also rather unattractive: overly thick, angled incorrectly and not the right color. It also protrudes outside the line of my other teeth when the natural tooth was straight and looked fine. Dr. Caruso refunded the $300 deposit I'd paid to get the crown and offered to make it right by doing the correct tooth at no extra cost. However I've lost confidence in his work and went to another dentist. Now I have to spend an extra $1,500 to have the wrong crown redone by another dentist as well as another $1,500 to get a crown on the right tooth. I'm very disappointed by this and won't be returning to him.
