The cuisine is traditional north german, and is the best I've had in Hannover and surrounding environs so far. I also appreciate that the menu follows the seasons with lots of spargel and fresh garlic in the spring and grünkohl in the winter etc. It's on the spendy side (EUR15-25 for an entree) but for a special occasion it could be a good choice. And while you're there, see if you can find the one very odd and somewhat out of place piece of decor -- a signed drumstick from the drummer of the Scorpions, who apparently eats there regularly!
