Lunch/Dinner with a view, some adrenaline and lots of fun - this restaurant on the Möseralm has it all! In the winter this place is right in the middle of the popular Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area, and in the summer time it functions as a stop for hikers and hungry Fun Park goers. The only way to get to this restaurant (and the "sommer fun park") is by lifts, or via an awfully challenging summer hike up the mountain - it is not accessible by vehicle. We specifically came here for the Fisser Flieger which is super fun. Think of being strapped in a harness underneath a long zip line, flying down a mountain in superman pose. The kind of thing that'll make you hungry (or nauseas if you're weak stomached).., either way it's probably wise to get something to eat, if for nothing else but the views! This restaurant is steps away from the Flieger and several other attractions and it's your only option for food/refreshments on the mountain top, so it's an easy choice. For being your only option, the food here is actually pretty alright, especially for a quick-food type place! I'd avoid the schnitzel, its bland and just blah - it reminds me of a sad hospital cafeteria meal. However, the salad bar is bomb! It's a simple heaven-on-earth amongst the heavy traditional food of the area. It's easily a great (if not the best) choice, even with the slightly odd addition of cold chicken wings. My husband had carbonara from the pasta station, which was surprisingly very good as well. Like, better than some Italian restaurants, good. Prices are so-so, not outrageously expensive but definitely befitting of the area (lunch for 3 including non-alcoholic drinks came to a little under 50€). The outdoor patio is beautiful in the middle of summer, the large wooden tables and benches giving you that 'mountain' feel with amazing views. Obviously it's very easy to get a tan and sunburn on a mountaintop, so keep that in mind and opt for a table indoors or one with a parasol if that's a concern. There's a souvenir penny machine up here, so if you collect those make sure to bring some coins up! After lunch/dinner going back down you can either take the lifts, go for a (rather steep and lengthy) hike, OR take the Flitzer - which is a summer rodelbahn, otherwise known as an Alpine Coaster. For a few Euros this is easily the most fun and the most exhilarating option, it's possible to hit speeds up to 45km/28mph! read more
