I called and left another message, and she called me back. She told me she was quite busy, and honestly, immediately made me feel like I was bothering her. She informed me that she wouldn't even be able to look at her calendar until the following week, and at that point I could make an appointment. She said she would call me back, or I may have to call her back if she forgets (get a reminder app for your phone!). She has not called me back and guess what? I'm not going to call her back, either. I would like to point out she did not ask me if I felt like I was a threat to myself or anyone else, or if I needed to see someone immediately. Glad I wasn't about to jump off a building or swallow a handful of pills. This, my friends, is why people don't seek help, and if they do try, they are met with this kind of uncaring response. She did ask what my insurance was, though, because of course, that is the most important thing here. I spent a few days petting my cat and talking to a friend and I feel much better now. Dr. Sturm - once you're unbusy - seek counseling for yourself. You are in no position to help others.

Great listening, great suggestions, and genuine concern for your quality of life is what you will find. Some people see counseling as a waste of time. However, when you need support and understanding from an outside source; someone who will not pre-judge and offer excellent advice, Granite State Child and Family will be there for you!

You can point this out and they will acknowledge that it was a mistake on their part, and then they'll bill you anyway. You may not be able to get a hold of someone if you need them. They left me hang for an entire week without meds only to find out on a Friday before a holiday , that my Dr isn't comfortable prescribing the same meds I've been taking for years. They told me that I have to start over with a new Dr that they will assign sometime after the holiday. You should find another provider, this place is a mess that you can definitely live without.
