I toured Berlin for 4 hours on a Segway!…read more I had never been on a segway before, but they fully train you and it truly becomes second nature after only a few minutes practice. Soon were zipping about, moving from walkway to street and back. The Segway enabled us to cover an incredible amount to territory and sites. The guide was an absolute scream. He was so incredibly funny and his humor kept my attention such that I actually learned and retained more than if I just heard someone reciting dull facts. Our group was small, only four of us plus the guide and that made it intimate and personal. lots of opportunities to stop for photos and questions. I'm looking forward to returning to Berlin this summer and doing it again! Well worth the money.

The guy gives you about a 20 minute practise and then you head off for the tour,no body armour required or silly knee pads or helmets, this is the real wild west segway tour.These machines turn on a sixpence and are really manoverable.We saw all the sites and hammered around the garden Reichstag {it would have given Hitler a fit}anyway ace this tour and ended up racing around the Tiergarten. Jeremy is indeed a masterful story teller with great insights on the city and its history. I learned there were 2711 blocks in the Holocaust Memorial which ironically are the same as the pages in the Talmud. Jeremy has a very easy going style and pays close attention to feedback which is so rare and important. I've had other experiences where I simply wasn't heard and that is Jeremy's special sauce... an ability to listen and carve out parts that appeal to travelers.
