The service was excellent and friendly with the owner offering a free appetizer. The chicken doner was heavenly and the restaurant itself, clearly knew, is clean and bright. Even though we were looking for Mediterranean/Persian food and this was Israeli food, the menu seemed decent.We waited for what seemed an eternity, but it couldn't have been a full 10 minutes. The person who seemed destined to be our waiter walked by to attend to other customers he was serving multiple times. He didn't even so much as acknowledged or greet us. In all the trips by us he didn't say hello, or offer water. After a few minutes we just got up and left. Now you have to take this in the context of how people welcome customers in Mexico City. The first words are almost always "Bienvenido." There are too many lovely restaurants and people in Mexico City to suffer any kind of "desprecio" for any reason. If a business only wants a certain kind of customer they should let people know so they won't waste their time going there...
