You "can" take your film to a big pharmacy chain to have it developed, but those companies ship out to a third party. It takes time. There's a risk of damaging the film. It's not supporting local. Kerry's team does it in house & does it quickly. They also use WeTransfer now, so if you don't need your negatives, you don't have to go back to pick up your goods. The prices are super reasonable & all the folks who work at Kerry's are pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend Kerry's & all of her film-related services. I can't speak to printing & framing & whatnot, but if they apply the same diligence they use for developing film to their other services, I'm sure they're fabulous.

First and foremost, when I booked my time slot for their monthly Pin-up Workshop, Brittney Fusco (the photographer) contacted me immediately and was incredibly helpful. Within the weeks leading up to the shoot, I received several emails about how to prep for the shoot and also what type of outfits/makeup to bring to the shoot. These were so helpful and definitely eased my nerves on the shoot. Prior to my shoot, the closest thing I had to done to anything like this is some "before a crazy night out" photo shoots with friends in college. You know exactly what kind of shoot those were. :) They recently moved into a great little space right off the Rhode Island Mall exit off of 95 South. The place is a little tricky to see as they are still working on getting some signage but once you walk into the studio, you automatically feel right at home. The shoot itself was lovely. For a mere $35 (amazing, I know) I was locked into an hour session. The first 30 mins were spent by Tiff (Brittney's sis) doing my make-up and Heather Bettencourt doing my hair. The transformation was fabulous. The last half hour was spent actually in front of the camera with Brittney snapping away at every pose I could come up with. They have loads of vintage clothing and antique items to really make all of your pin-up dreams come to life. I kept it simple and nautical. Brittney is a dream to work with because she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and although it was only 30 mins. I never felt rushed. Not to mention her puppy Purl made the shoot that much more adorable. I left the shoot with a little goodie bag with my name on it and it really was the icing on the cake. The turnover for the photos was relatively quick as well. For the package that I selected, I saw about 17 proofs and picked 4 for her to work her retouching magic on. A few days after that, they were posted and I was completely amazed at how they came out. She truly does amazing work and any girl looking for a little indulgence and should definitely look to Brittney and Poppy Photography to make it all happen.

Sebastian is a very thoughtful skilled photographer. I gave him the challenging task of repairing a…read more47 year old 3" x 3" double exposure color snapshot. I wanted to eliminate one of the exposures and have the repaired photograph made into a 12" x 12" print. Sebastian was able to remove the double exposure and had to actually recreate parts of the picture where in had been completely obscured by the double exposure. Sebastian's skills and dedication to the task has yielded a historically invaluable one of a kind photo of a Fresnel lens in service in a lighthouse back in 1971. This photo will go on permanent display in the lighthouse for generations of visitors to enjoy.

She showed me all the rooms that you could use- and there were sooooo many, it was so cute. She showed me that they even had a changing room, so if someone were to bring numerous outfits they could change that's a great idea- I wish I had thought to bring more than one outfit. But it was just the spur of the moment thing. The selfie rings are super lightweight and easy to use. You can use a iPhone or droid they teach you how to use it. Also the music was on point- it made the vibes even better. I will be going back again- I enjoyed my time very much and I would recommend doing this- I went alone and got great pictures! You don't even need to go with anyone you can take amazing pictures of yourself. But bringing someone might make it even more fun. I was told they try to change out some of the themes here and there, but some of the themes stay because they're so in demand. But for the price it was totally worth it.

My daughter is 8 months old, can sit but not stand, and is easily distracted by the comings and goings of the world, sounds, lights, etc. Caly did an awesome job of keeping her focused, was gentle and secure in her positioning and all around very nice. She took about 30 pictures and when the session was done she had us wait about 10 minutes while she formed some collages, mockups, and a presentation for us. We sat down and reviewed the pictures and almost every single one was useable. I was very pleased with the pictures, positions, props, and photographer. Caly was very knowledgeable with the pricing and picture options. One of the downsides is the price. HOWEVER i had a coupon so it was VERY affordable. I got 1 8X10, 2 5X7, 4 3.5X5, and 16 wallets for $8.50 (price includes tax). I used the $7.99 "perfect pose" coupon. The only downside to this is you can only choose ONE pose, i wanted them all! The other downside IMO is the lack of internet access to my photos. I wish they would put them online for 30 or 60 days so if you wanted you could buy another package or collage with the different poses. Money is very tight right now, but maybe i'd have expendable income to buy some more at a later date. That would be a wonderful option. Caly gets 5 stars, but due to pricing and the lack of internet viewing/purchasing, i give the entire production 3 stars. I doubt i'll go here to get my holiday greeting card photos done, but i may go to get a few 8X10 collages for the grandparents and aunt/uncle.
