They wouldn't even talk with me over the phone and turned me down based on the fact that they don't want to do a smaller party of 30 and I left a voice message regarding wanted tables, chairs, linens plus delivery and pick up. I am speechless. Sent me a text saying no... today's business practice at Bernard's. I was a potential loyal customer new to San Diego. I found them on Yelp. I sent out a few quotes and he was the most responsive. I hired them for my husbands 40th birthday luau. We celebrated at paradise point resort. They have multiple party items available for rent, I only did tables, chairs, and snow cone maker(the cute carnival looking one. Our party began at 5p. They said drop off would be 11-1p and I want to say they arrived between 11-12. I asked them to pick up same day and they accommodated picking up at 10p. I think they even arrived shortly after, which helped us as we were still cleaning up. U can pay extra per chair table for set up and break down. That is awesome. He even had some leftover snow cones and said I could use them. So when I returned the item, I paid it forward and gave him our extra supplies as we had no use for it. The snow cone maker was a hit, especially with the kids. Bernard sends estimates via email and updates accordingly. As I said great communication. Sent invoice for deposit and must pay in full upon delivery. Accepts card but I wasn't sure about Venmo. u can tip on the card when u pay in full if u have no cash. I think it's a family business, possibly husband, wife and son. They're the ones who did pick up drop off. Thanks again Bernard's party rental. Would def hire them again. Forgot to include free delivery within a 10-15mile range. Forgot what exactly, so I had to pay a little extra for the mileage. Support small businesses. read more

The quality of both the products and customer service have consistently been phenomenal! I have a big family, so as you can imagine, we have a lot of birthday parties. We always rent a jumper with tables and chairs from Bernard. Every time I reach out, he promptly responds with an invoice confirming my order and a link to secure with a deposit. The prices are very affordable and every jumper he's provided has been so clean - like new condition. The tables and chairs are also good quality and in great condition. I appreciate how drop off of the items is usually in the morning with pick up the next day. Bernard and his family/team are all so nice. They unload and set up the jumper quickly and efficiently. They can also set up/take down tables and chairs for an added fee if needed. Bernard's communication is also one of the reasons we consistently use his services. He reaches out with any questions (usually delivery/pick up time related) and promptly responds to any messages sent to him. In the event of rain/inclement weather, he'll reach out in advance with proposed alternatives, if needed. The website lists prices for the many items and services they provide. They do a good job on keeping it updated. The jumper combo I usually get isn't listed, but as of this last Feb it was $120 for a jumper, 4 tables, and 24 chairs.
