While I understand charging and paying for a service the insturmm was instrument was not worth that I in cleaning and it was disappointing to have the owner give you a quote and then tell you it was more because he was told he was not charging enough when you pick it up. It may be a great clean but should you be up charging at the time of pick up when you were quoted a price and there were no problems at the time of service?

We visited this shop and the staff, Hans and Al, spent almost 2 hours with us setting up our speakers and finding equipment that would perform well with what we had. We ended up with an amp and pre-amp system along with a turntable. What a blast and a wonderful place! They assisted with instructions to ensure proper installation. Wanted to take the time to write a kind review towards this ballet school…read more The lead teacher Val has decades of experience as a performer and trained in Russia at one of their art schools and also did 8 years of university study. He's very knowledgeable about ballet history which has been really insightful to learn about. He's someone who is really passionate about ballet and it's heritage and getting new people excited about dance. The style is very classical ballet and traditionally Russian with strong roots to origins of ballet. As teacher, he's noticeably thoughtful about each member of the class and adjusting his teaching to the students there each day. It's very nice to see such attentive teaching as a dancer. Even though I've had a lot training, I feel I'm learning and improving and gotten great opportunities at this studio. Val can be strict at times, but is also very warm-hearted and wants to help everyone improve their skills. He thoughtfully makes parts for everyone in the shows and starts the next show season by having people fill about their desired type of roles and keeps stock of that. I hope more people will come dance at this unique studio. It's smaller, but gives a lot of opportunities for getting personalized attention in being taught or private lessons. I'm really enjoying taking classes here and the chill vibes.

Of the four piano stores I visited, I felt Robert Jones Pianos & Organs was definitely the best! Robert personally helped us to choose our piano, answering our questions, and giving us fair and honest information on all brands and models. He is a true professional -- in every way. The showroom was large, with all brands and styles to choose from; both new pianos and used. Robert is very talented, and plays superbly. It was a wonderful experience just to hear him play the pianos we were looking at. Not all pianos sound alike -- and we were able to listen as an audience, to evaluate the various brands and models. Robert Jones is not high pressure, just the opposite -- a nice guy, who wants you to be happy with whatever choice you make. After checking out pianos elsewhere, we came back to Robert Jones to make our purchase -- and he matched the price. He gave us a free piano bench -- and fitted it with legs to match the piano's legs! Above and beyond what anyone would expect! The delivery was free, (although almost an hour from his shop) prompt, efficient, and truly professional as well: Robert personally arrived along with the piano mover, Andrew, they set it quickly, to our satisfaction, without incident -- and at my request, he gave us a little performance! If only I could play as well as he does...... I can think of nothing more Robert could have done -- he knows his business, and certainly made us happy.
