Did not even wait long on our return trip to Copenhagen after visiting Kronborg Castle. My impression is that this is a fine station located in a charming town.

Both Metro lines service this location, as well as several S-trains and bus lines. Things seemed to run on time, the station is clean and easy to navigate. There is a shopping center next to the Metro side of the station, as well as a 7/11 as you walk up. You'll be able to get what you need and get to where you need to go.

The open space has a calm atmosphere, with a small garden in the middle and majestic historic buildings surrounding it, including the Royal Danish Theatre, Hotel D'Angleterre, and several high-end shops like Rolex. It's a convenient meeting point and a pleasant place to pause while exploring the city. There's even a small pub on the corner, perfect for an Aperol Spritz on a warm afternoon. I don't claim this the most beautiful place in the city, but it's nice to pass through.

I don't think this place was set-up to run functionally. From the rooms being super super hot (automated heater that compensates for outside temp) to the AC controls being super confusing and really having no options other than basically the La Croix of cooling...to the bathroom sink not always draining...and a fridge that keeps nothing cold. When we checked in, they said our room was ready, when we got there, there was a dirty coffee cup lol They do come and change your towels and tidy up daily if you want, but sometimes take your bathroom floor mat without replacing it. So come stop by, just to take a picture of the lights in the stairwell or I guess if you want to use the sauna (but let them know 30 mins to a hour in advance).

Carlsberg station is a perfectly adequate station on Copenhagen's S-train system. It's relatively…read morenew, having replaced Enghave station, 200 meters to the East about two years ago. There are residential and retail nearby, so this will be helpful. The station is handicapped accessible with elevators from the platform level to the street level. The station is pretty much open to the elements though. The usual scanners for checking in and checking out with your metro pass are at both ends of the platform. There is a large bicycle parking station at the surface level. Carlsberg station is between Valby (toward Frederikssund) and Dybbølsbro.

Crisp bacon, eggs, pancakes, cereal, breads, pastries, and a whole charcuterie board with fancy meats and cheeses, and even smoked salmon. Negatives: lift not operational for part of our stay (but they did haul our luggage up to the 4th floor and offered free drinks to all until it was repaired), some wear in our room and our fridge door wouldn't shut fully, our room lock stopped working (didn't realize it was unlocked all day while away -although afterwards they did leave an employee outside our room so we could leave AND left us some gifts for the trouble). Overall a pleasant stay for us. The staff was helpful and accommodating and the location was quiet and good for transport.
