It is a geodesic dome that is 143 feet tall and has a diameter of 563 feet. Surprisingly, it is only the fifth largest dome in the world though it is the largest *wooden* dome. Some facts about the dome: - it has a retractable artificial turf carpet. - the first event here was in 1991, when the Wildcats defeated Indianapolis - the attendance record is 8672 - George W. Lake superior is amazing. The campus is right on the water with several things to do related to water. DO NOT LET THE WINTER STOP YOU FROM GOING THERE. During the winter is when the real fun happens. People are extremely nice in this city and the real activites happen when there is snow on the ground.
