So for the 1star it was only because $5.00 ticket on Monday afternoon. The rest was a joke. 14 year old birthday and No nachos and cheese, no pretzel with cheese, no Carmel or cheese popcorn, they had regular popcorn but no butter. A guy stood behind the counter and said candy and popcorn for sell, 1 bag of cotton candy. Went to fill up soda and no small lids. He went to the back and threw about 20 on the counter with the rest of the sleeve and walked away. It's 12:30 in the afternoon and on a Monday. I don't go to the movies but maybe twice a year and both times out of items to order. This place has really gone downhill and needs new management to do a better job. read more

I really want to love this movie theater because most of what they have to offer I very much enjoy--good seating, good sound system, quality popcorn and beverage options-- but sadly there is always something wrong with the picture in the theaters. It seems like an issue with their projectors perhaps, but namely the screen is always noticeably dimmer than it should be, and there's also a persistent and not-to-so subtle flicker to the brightness of the picture (I noticed this last night in Theater 6). I have spoken with plenty of patrons who have noticed the same thing, find it distracting and ruinous to the moviegoing experience, and are now often conflicted about going to the theater due to picture issues. These picture issues have been ongoing for at least a couple years now, and I recall alerting staff a long time ago--they would say they'd tell the projectionist but nothing has changed. I am writing this strictly in the hopes that this can be addressed, and would gladly otherwise make this a five star review. read more

Considering we live in the absolute middle of nowhere, Thomas Theater Group does an outstanding job of giving us a theater experience. The staff are friendly, the ticket prices are incredibly fair and they offer free classic movies throughout the year. They also give great discounts to veterans. My wife and I love going to see movies at the Marquette location. The only downside is that Hollywood releases so many movies we aren't interested in watching. All the same, we go to the movies as often as we can and we're incredibly happy to support the theater and the staff, they are a tremendous asset for the 906 community and it's clear that they believe in what they do and go out of their way to offer memorable experiences for the audience. There's also a ton of arcade games for the kiddos, nothing like the 1990s, it's all ticket games but that's a recent addition. TTG is awesome and deserves your support! read more

Clean movie theater; reasonable rates; friendly staff. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the screen in theater 5 had a weird splotch on the screen that was noticeable during certain scenes in the movie. read more

Thomas Theatres Group - Can't wait!!!! - Cinema Near Me - Marquette, Michigan

To get away from the rain, on a summer afternoon, I took my daughters to see a movie! This theater is clean and the guest services are very nice but the location is fairly hidden and somewhat of a challenge to find. Not that much can be done about it now, I'm just saying for those of us who are from out of town. Due to its location if you arrive early there's not much to do other than wait in your car. There is no arcade to entertain the kids prior to the movie or nearby shops to peruse prior to entering. Our movie played in theater 10. The seats were comfortable with plenty of room. I believe there may be something wrong with the actual screen on which the movie was projected. Dead center of the screen the movie appeared pixelated with a reflective quality and it was a bit distracting from some of the movie's scenes. read more

Very comfortable seating, clean and easy to maneuver in the dark. I have 2 "complaints," 1) the sound system is insanely loud and uncomfortable. We now take earplugs and wear them throughout the movie, otherwise we would leave. 2) too many kiddie movies, we are adults, we are retired, we would come to the movies more often if there were more adult level movies. Again, beautiful facility, very comfortable. We would be there much more often if it wasn't for these 2 problems. read more

Really clean theater with comfy seats to. My hubby has a bad back from years of work and he can't usually get comfortable but these seats recline a bit and he never complains. Screens are huge especially the one giant screen like an imax theater. Prices aren't bad either. Only reason for 4 stars is the popcorn always seems cold. We go to the movies here a couple times a month and always have a great time. read more
