I lived and loved living in Bridgeton since 1971. Sharon and I and a family of 5 enjoyed this great place for families. I served at the discretion of 3 mayors as a volunteer on commissions namely Parks and Recreation; Personnel, Planning and Zoning and the Board of Arbitration. You may contact Mayor Bowers for references. Also the deceased Mayor Biggs and I served together on the Parks Commission Now with our family grown we live in a villa in St Charles Mo. I miss Bridgeton and the family memories and more so the 50 plus years of the Berry Hill golf course I must admit the employees at BH have become family yet I too complained to the mayor when improvements felt needed and changes occurred without suspension and termination. You have dedicated employees who use to go the extra mile here but no longer. No longer will I play BH after I personally experienced the degradation of employees. Great greens, well maintained fairways and a changing course. Had a great time on this course.

I've played at a lot of courses this is the first one I've ever been to that has a cart Marshall driving around over the course overseeing play. Course upkeep seemed below average but it's early I guess, at $26 for 9 holes I just don't see why you wouldn't play a nicer course without a cart Marshall lurking around. read more

The cart marshal followed us the whole time we played. While we were still putting he yelled multiple times and told us to hurry up. I've never been at a course where anyone hurry's your swing. We had two first time golfers with us who didn't have clubs because they weren't sure if they would like it or not and we were told that everyone has to use their own clubs, no exceptions. If your a beginner or just golf for fun I do not recommend this course at all. read more

For the price this course is incredible. If you are in town by the airport for training it's only a few minutes away. Greens are a little slow but in great shape. Not the longest course but the fairways are tight. Staff is very nice. read more

The marshall was sarcastic and nievie. He told me and my 71 year old mother to hurry up on the last hole. Nobody behind us. We were within the 2 hour 15 minute play pace. Everything he said was said in a rude disrespectful way. If you look around online you will find a lot of reviews about an old grumpy marshall there. Maybe it's time to hire a new one. read more

I literally just started playing golf about 2 months ago although I've followed it for 20 years & have been to the Masters twice & the PGA when it was here in town not to mention a few other tourneys over the years but now that I'm playing what a great 9 hole place to get use to & have fun learning how to play the game. The staff is great especially the ladies after my rounds with who provide me with my hot dogs to go. And David Levine the golf pro was great at regripping my clubs. Well nobody is perfect so they get a 4 out of 5 from me. It's a neighborhood 9 hole course, not Pebble Beach. They make a good effort to keep the fairways and greens in good shape. There are some ladies that plant flowers throughout to make it look nice and they do a nice job. There's a practice green which is always mowed and in good shape. Looks like the other reviews are pretty dated. No problem with the course management here. Just respect the rules and play at a reasonable pace and I have never had any issues. I've played in a senior league on Mondays during the summer for a couple years so I have a good sample size on which to base an opinion. read more

Never again! Rude staff.......Way overpriced!!!!! The staff all of which are 80+ have an attitude that they believe they are one of the top courses in the area and treat people like dirt. There is a bright side however as you can just about always walk-on at anytime......Unfortunately I now see why..... read more

Great little course to walk, not super hard, lots of beautiful mature trees; love it. Not a ton of high grass, so I don't lose balls. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They have golf lessons, a little pro shop, and a nice area to grab a hotdog and a beer. For the price, you can't beat it. read more

I have a family member who lives near here so we've visited from time to time. I'm going to skip it from now on. They're so rude and make the whole golfing experience tense and awful. And it's not like the course is all that spectacular. We do not misbehave on golf courses, we've brought other golfers here to spend money yet the staff lectures us before and during our play, rudely telling us our teenage daughter could not drive the cart (she wasn't driving). Golf should be fun. These guys don't seem to understand that. read more
