Avoid Hoppe Land Surveying, P.C. - A Cautionary Tale of Poor Service…read more If you're considering hiring Hoppe Land Surveying, P.C., also known as New York Surveyor (www.newyorksurveyor.com) or Hoppe Land Surveyor (www.hoppelandsurveyor.com), you might want to reconsider. Here's why my experience was far from satisfactory: Initial Communication with Hoppe Land Surveying When I first contacted Hoppe Land Surveying, P.C., the communication seemed promising. They had been used by the previous owner, and Stephen's father assured me over the phone that they would update their original survey drawing with changes for free as part of their service. Delays and Lack of Follow-Up However, after I made the payment, things took a turn for the worse. They were supposed to start the next day (January 4, 2024), but the actual staking did not happen until nearly two months later on February 28, 2024. This was despite their promise that the job would take no more than a week. It took multiple reminder calls from me for them to finally show up. Unprofessional Conduct On the day of the staking, Hoppe Land Surveying left without any communication. I had to follow up to confirm if the job was even done. I wish I had read Rene's review on yelp before hiring them. Like her, I made the mistake of paying in advance and now need to hire another firm to complete the drawing. Poor Customer Service Every time I followed up about the drawing, I was either ignored or given excuses about their email issues with promises of a call back, which never happened. My email tracker showed they read my messages before giving these excuses. I haven't heard from them since. Conclusion: Do Not Hire Hoppe Land Surveying, P.C. While they don't seem malicious, their ineptitude is evident. If you want your job completed efficiently and professionally, avoid Hoppe Land Surveying P.C., Stephen Hoppe, and Zachary Mufson.

I had known Mariana Zuniga for more than 25 years, which is why I chose her to sell my townhome. In…read morefact, I canceled my relationship with another realtor out of loyalty and trust. Unfortunately, my experience during the sale was disappointing. As the transaction progressed, I felt that my husband and I were often spoken to in a condescending manner. The tone and way information was communicated to us made us feel as though our opinions, knowledge, and concerns were not being respected. On more than one occasion, information was repeated to us in a way that felt dismissive rather than helpful. We also disagreed on pricing. I was encouraged to lower the listing price, but I chose to keep it at the amount I believed the property was worth. The home received offers within the first week, and I was glad I trusted my instincts and stood my ground. What was most disappointing was that a friendship of more than two decades seemed to change once business became involved. Throughout the process, I felt that the focus was on completing the sale rather than maintaining the respect, trust, and friendship that I believed existed between us. After the transaction was completed, I never heard from her again, which was hurtful and disappointing. This experience taught me an important lesson: long-term personal relationships do not always translate into successful business relationships. While others may have a different experience, mine left me feeling disappointed, disrespected, and undervalued. So unfortunate, that money can steal be the root of all evil.......

Lied to us about what kind of apartment it would be, claiming it would be quiet and that our landlady was very particular about making sure that only quite people moved in. We had issues with our heat and when looking through the lease realized that it contradicts itself at least 3 times on just that issue. Astonishing. Next thing I know we've been living here for a month and a family with small children moved in upstairs. Nothing but screaming and stomping for hours. Truly a horrible experience.
