They have great meals for takeout and go-to option for events. I have friends that have ordered for Thanksgiving and Easter meals.

We hosted my mother's 80th birthday party at the Berwick Manor in January, 2026. We started planning about 6 months in advance. After researching several venues in the Columbus area, Berwick Manor provided an affordable and elegant option with sufficient space, food and alcohol. Prior to the event, we were able to do a tasting and customize the menu to our choices. Leading up to the event, Riley (our contact person) checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. On the day of, the room was beautiful - set up with color coordinated place settings and everything we asked for. There was a table with a lunch buffet, a cake table, a microphone, and a bar. We were able to come in early to add the decorations that we wanted to add - we brought in balloons, flowers, centerpieces, photographs, etc. Everyone who came was impressed with the space. The servers were courteous, friendly and helpful. At the end of the event, they didn't rush us out, but cleaned up quickly and efficiently. There were no hidden costs after the event. I would recommend hosting here and would be happy to do another event here as well. read more

I attended an event which was catered by The Berwick. The food was amazing. It was appetizing and delicious. I had a roast beef wrap and the Balsamic Roasted Vegetable Salad. The wrap was unbelievably nice & fresh & of ample size. Lots of meat and nice fresh vegetables. The Roasted Vegetable Salad was perhaps one of the most flavorful side dishes I've ever had. It was delicious and I am going to try to make it at home. read more

We had food catered from here for my daughter's Ohio State graduation. It was amazing! We had the chicken Parmesan, meatballs, baked ziti, vegetable medley, and Caesar salad. Ordered the Tour of Italy. We chose Lasagna and Chicken Piccata. First of all the menu said it included one salad. It DID NOT state one LARGE salad or salad for two, thus we ordered an extra salad which brought the total to $55.00. The meal included 4 slices of bread (the bread was good and large slices). The Lasagna was absolutely delicious! I would definitely order it again. Not knowing exactly what Chicken Piccata was, I looked it up and it is supposed to have capers and lemon in the sauce. Our chicken was DRY, not a single caper in the sauce and not a hint of lemon. I DO NOT REOMMEND this dish. The Berwick has been around for years and they have a great reputation. We had them cater a dinner party at our house, it was AWESOME. Two employees showed up and started setting the tables, putting out finger food for the group. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the food, wine and Italian history behind the meal. They set up, served the 5 course meal and cleaned up afterwards. Went for a holiday buffet on Monday. Pleasant staff. Large selection of dishes. Fried mushrooms to die for and actual crisp calamari on a buffet... Shout your mouth... It's real! A few things missed the mark mostly due to flat seasoning. Mostly the stuffing. Ah well the Italian beef and lasagna and poached fish were great! Looks like they can seat 2 to 10 at one Table and that is rare anymore with everyone going to 2 and 4 tops only. I came here to pick up a take out order and I was waiting around for exactly one hour for my food this is not alright.

This is another review based upon Customer service, though the person i talked to on the phone was ok. It has taken 9 phone calls and four days to finally be able to talk to someone. We called Friday to get information about their Thanksgiving Buffet, left a message. Received a phone call from a gentlemen when we were not home yesterday(Monday), he left a message. We called back three times later that day and it kept ringing and ringing. Today i called four times, and finally on the fourth try someone finally answered. I asked for some information to see if it matched up with what i read from the Columbus Dispatch. She gave me information that was a little different than what i read. Instead of 25.50 per person from the article it is 27.50. Now i did notice that i looked at a older article from a couple thanksgiving's ago, but then she also mentioned that they add Gratuity of some kind of % to the bill as well. To be honest i kinda stopped listening to her when she mentioned that and was ready to get off the phone. I don't mind when i go to a fancy steakhouse and order an entree and get served from a server, but this is a buffet. Though i do believe in tipping and i do tip pretty decent, i don't believe in tipping for refills of water at a buffet i serve myself. I'm sure the food is great, but i'll just cook for my Family before i spend around a hundred dollars for 3 people. You would think at that price their phone answering skills would be on point. read more

I came here for a banquet and my hope for you is that you are never invited to a banquet here. Some of the attendees told me that this was the place to be for a whole generation of Columbus natives. Unfortunately, those glory days are long past for the Berwick. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you can't help but wonder if they are closing this week ... Or maybe already closed. The parking lot is cracked, crumbling, and unstriped. The landscaping reminds you of what you might see at an abandoned house in the inner city. Inside is not much better - the carpets are worn and matted, the ceiling tiles are full of water marks, the lighting is dim, and the linens are dull. I have been to many dives in my life so held out hope that the food was going to outperform the decor. Unfortunately, it did not. The chicken was stringy, the pasta sauce was little more than canned tomatoes, the green beans were cooked until they begged for mercy and then over salted, and the desserts pies were served warm. At the table, I did not get a water refill during my entire meal and 4 pieces of silverware at the table were dirty to the point of being able to scrape food off of them. Avoid this place - no matter how good it used to be. read more

Ok just did Easter dinner with Berwick. Had slight glitch with the online ordering , order was not excepted. When I arrived for my pickup I was not in the system. Staff went into emergency mode and went above and beyond to make it right !! Another Holiday another complete success !! Every thing Hot fresh, and lots of it ! I've had the opportunity of enjoying Berwick Manor's food at the Italian Festival for the past 2 years. I decided that since I had the day off, that I would meet up with my friend Ms. L and get some food. Berwick Manor's been around since the 50's, and you can kind of tell by the decor. The outdated decor aside, the food is BANGIN! I ordered not one, but two entrees: Gnocchi with Vodka sauce and Portabella Mushroom Ravioli. Both of the meals were amazing, although I took the gnocchi with me to eat later on for dinner. It took a bit of time for the server to come around to fill up the coffee. I can understand since this place is more on the buffet end. For both meals, tons of rolls, and copious amounts of coffee, I spent under $25 bucks, and access to the soup and salad bar. Would I take a date here for lunch? Probably not. A good trusted friend from 11am-3pm from Tues-Friday? Yes. Would I have them cater a massive party? Definitely! read more

Berwick manor catered my wedding in October. TJ is one of the owners and I was blessed to have him with me on my big day. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was impeccable! TJ cooked the pasta onsite to ensure the pasta was al dente, he hand filled cannoli and setup the dessert table, he checked in with myself and family to personally see that everything was going well, the team did all of the set up and tear down, and TJ used his work truck to help my family take home decorations. Also, my new family is first generation Sicilian and every one of them raved about the food. Which if you're Italian, you'd know that's a big deal!! The star of the dinner was the vodka Tortellini. The portions were gargantuan and we had enough leftovers to feed the whole family the next day. I could go on and on about how great Berwick Manor is... But all I need to say is, for any future events that require catering I will forever choose Berwick!!! read more

Berwick has catered two weddings for us. Both times the service and food were exemplary. This weekends wedding, every guest we spoke to raved about the food. They served Chicken Marsala over risotto , Pork Tenderloin with a fig port reduction and Portabella mushroom ravioli. All were amazing! We served plated meals that were delivered hot and quick to the guests. They poured red and white wine during dinner and shots for the toasts. The homemade meatball appetizers are the best I've ever had. This family business knows how to treat your family like family! read more

We rented the Cultural Arts Center for our wedding last weekend (August 2018), and couldn't have made a better selection. What made us first look there was the price: inside and out for an entire day was incomparably affordable relative to other venues we looked at. Additionally, we could choose any licensed caterer to work the day, though they did have a pre-approved list. The venue itself is gorgeous, placed right next to the river, and requires very little decoration. Many of our guests enjoyed looking at the art during the reception; made for a good talking point. The staff is easy to work with, and Jackie (the coordinator) was very helpful. We'd recommend the CAC to anybody looking for an affordable and beautiful venue in Columbus! read more

Subject: Their BEST days are LONG gone!! Came to Berwick for a church-related event and thank God that the content was great. Not sure where to start so let me sum it up: 1. No lights on when we arrived to set up. We had to ASK someone to turn them on. 2. Freezing cold! And, we had to ask for heat. Heat subsequently turned WAY up. Needless to say, the request to moderate the heat landed us back in the deep freeze. 3. Floors in our meeting room were filthy. Lone guy at work tried to mop and sweep (yep, we had to TELL him to get a vacuum). Mop must not have been clean as the smell of dirty water was STRONG. So strong that we sent someone to the store for Febreeze and Glade candles! This is seriously problematic but who wants to eat lunch smelling dirty mop water? Exactly. 4. Banquet staff person assigned to our event was Stephanie who when we expressed concern about the condition of the space at 10 am for an 11 am event start time looked at us like WE were three simpletons and said "well, your event isn't until11 am!" Translation: what's the problem? As we pointed out the dirt, debris (including a generous smattering of leaves) on the floor, she didn't seem the least bit concerned. Nor was she worries about dirty linen, nasty glass and hurricane vases. Nor was she in a hurry to get the easel or podium that we ordered. The lack of interest, concern or sense of urgency seemed to match Berwick's decor and condition--old, tired and worn out. The Women's Restroom can only be summed up with "Eeeeeewwwwwwww!!!" It was filthy. How can you not at least sweep the floor and clean the counter and toilets. Oh, did I mention that this was an event for WOMEN??? No surprise, they were still cleaning when our guests started to arrive. So...it's 4 hours later and Stephanie hasn't shown her face. She didn't even come out to thanks for the business. That pretty much seals it. While I will cherish fond memories of Berwick from my childhood, I'll definitely leave it at that. I won't be back and recommend that you NOT bother. read more

Fantastic. This was the first time I have been to Berwick. We unfortunately had a death in the family and needed a place to feed 75 of us hungry Italians after the services. Berwick was able to come through. It was an unbelievable buffet. Literally something for everyone and so many selections I coudn't even try half! The best part was it was all delicious. The price was reasonable as well. I know some others mention that the place might be a bit dated but honestly it's one of the best meals I've had in awhile and most others who attended also were pleased. After listening to the Big Bass Brother's stellar review on the radio last Friday I was sold on having the buffet lunch at The Berwick today. The service was prompt and friendly and we were seated with a smile. The salad bar was fresh and my bleu cheese dressing tasted home made. There were at least 15 entree choices and as many sides, including delicious calamari. Everything I tasted was well seasoned, cooked properly, freshly made, and replenished often. We are using the Berwick for our wedding. We had our tasting and there are no words for how incredible the food was. Every item we tried was to die for! They make their lasagna homemade from scratch. It's the best I've ever had. And TJ and Kelly were SO on top of it as far as every little detail. My favorite lunch spot. Wednesday and Friday are mushroom days. They are the best. They get busy and sometimes the service shows this but if you watch you can tell the staff are working hard. The Italian specials are wonderful I typically fill up on salad and appetizer and take most of the entree home. For around 8 bucks. You can't beat it.
