Officially...#47 is behind me. And it's pretty good! I was in the Windermere area, so naturally...I had to scratch another off my ever expanding list. 1st impression... Shiney. Bright. New. Prices look on par... No issue with employee. I order my obligatory large donair with sweet sauce and side garlic sauce and a bottle of water. On par at $12.50 for everything. Value is decent. Could have used a little more meat as I had the middle of their three sizes. I really enjoyed the thick cut meat which was pretty well seasoned. Veggies were fresh and colorful. Sweet sauce was a little on the runny side, but I could certainly taste it throughout. Garlic sauce was also decent. Pita was fresh and held up. All things being equal...I'm satisfied. Not the best...but no obviouse issurs either. Perhaps a little more volume for my dollar. I could certainly handle these folks as my local shop. read more

We have been ordering from Best Bites in Windermere since moving here 4yrs ago!! On a few occasions the food has been hit and miss, but nothing as bad as Our order last night. We ordered 2 Jumbo Donairs (which we have done in the past), and it was the worst donair I have ever had. After taking the donairs out of the paper bag, we noticed immediately how saturated the inner wrappings were. We opened up the donairs and sat them on plates and when the donairs opened up, the sweet sauce ran out of the donairs and pooled the entire outer portion of the plates. There was soo much sauce that the pita bread was soggy and nasty. We are in the Industry and as previously stated, there are hit and miss experiences but this was too much. Aside from the soggy meal, it was apparent whoever sliced the onions did not take into account that onions should not be cut so large they overtake a dish. We ended up throwing out the 2 donairs and it will be sometime before we order from here again. Ordered take out from Skip the Dishes and was disappointed in the quality of the food. The veggies were soggy and unappetizing. Each order was different but there was no labelling and trying to discern which meal was for which person was a nightmare. The Donairs were soggy before we even got them and the only decent food in my opinion was the onion rings. 2/10 would not order again, very underwhelming. read more

I ordered the beef Donair and I have to say it was the most disappointing one I have ever had. The beef was cut in chunks, rather than slices, the onions were cut in large chunks, which overpowered the flavor of the rest. The tomatoes were few, the extra cheese I added could not be tasted and the sweet sauce so runny it was in the bottom of the bag. It was also cold when received. I also ordered the ground beef and bacon pizza. It was so greasy and I believe made with a barbecue sauce which did not go well . The entire pizza went to waste as we could not eat it. Please take my word and order from Pizza City Donair around the corner from Best Bite. They know how to make a delicious and extremely huge Donair. So much for trying someplace new! read more

A new to Windermere burger place but has other stuff on the menu including pizza, donair, chicken wings and milkshakes. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced - you get a good portion on your side orders of fries or onion rings and they are very tasty. Milkshake is very thick and high quality. I would rate this place as far as taste goes better then Five Guys. Also the place is very clean which is a bonus. read more

Worse than the last time. Cashier needed to hear the order 3 times and still got it wrong . I don't know about the other food here but the donairs are unbelievably overpriced and definitely not worth it , sweet sauce is unlike any I've ever seen and it's not a good change. Like another review said we got a regular and a jumbo and literally had to compare the ingredients to distinguish them because they were the SAME SIZE for an extra 5 dollars. read more

The food is very good but the service unfortunately is terrible. The manager or owner or franchisee goes out of his way to overcharge you and not use coupons and the staff are very unfriendly as well. It cost me three dollars to have garlic sauce put on my Donair and it was about 1 tablespoon. Also napkins cost extra read more

I love this place! The food quality is good, the owners/staff are incredibly friendly and the restaurant is clean!!! It's quick and the staff remember you even if you have only been here a couple times. It impresses me that every time you walk in there is a smile on their faces and they are happy to serve you- as so many places now lack good customer service. Ordered reg donair , jumbo donair, onion rings, and 9 piece nuggets and tater tots for the kids. The donair meat was really flavorful and was actually really good; couldn't really distinguish between reg and jumbo. Found the portions extreme small, especially the onion rings(literally got 6 skinny onions rings with the order and very similar with tater tots. Total for 2 donairs , 9 piece nuggets w/ Tater tots and 6 onion rings came to $32+tip. Let's just say I left hungry......tasty food,but cost vs portion size seems like it needs adjusting. read more

I ordered best bite the other day. I got a beef donair, mozza sticks (which comes with a garlic sauce), and a rootbeer milkshake and I was pleasantly surprised. All of my food was fresh and tasted delicious. I will 100% order from them again- I have no complaints! read more

the food is amazing! if you use a coupon or ask for extra sauce on a donair they charge an extra 3$. you have to request a receipt and in my case they were unable to give me one because of a "computer glitch". 2 donairs cost 26$ with cheese and sauce which is not according to the menu prices. no fries or drinks and it was almost 15$ per small size donair -if you are willing to pay more the food is really good though! read more

Worst customer service ever!! overcharged for pizza and when I called, owner started arguing with me and said I'm bullying and threatening him lol because I said I'm going to put a bad review. All I was asking why we weren't given the special deal they had online. Owner raised his voice and said we never asked for a special. He kept going and I hung up the phone. We have ordered pizza from so many places before and if they have a special they mention and offer to us but I think this is the way Best Bite have to overcharge people. If you don't ask, you don't get it haha. Never going back there again, very disappointed with how owner raised his voice and talked to me. read more

it's best not to use coupons. they either will not honor them or they charge extra for other items. the owners seem to look down on me whenever i go there so i stopping tipping. today i was accused of trying to steal a donair when the credit card machine didn't print. i had to calm the owner down and told her i had never even got my food nevermind stealing from them. it's best if your from the middle east to go here. read more
