    Unfortunately the least is one star. Ordered security…read morecameras and was told by Darren they would install right away since it was fall and wanted to install before it got too cold. Had an install date arranged which they didn't show up. I called after waiting over an hour, got voice mail and left a message. They didn't call back after 2 hours so I drove over. The receptionist was new and didn't know what was happening, she called Darren and he said an emergency came up in Whitby and would be there the next morning. Well, they didn't show up again or call. Finally after the 3rd time not showing up the installers came but almost 3 hours late. 2 guys showed up, only 1 guy spoke English but that wasn't a problem until the lead guy left after less than 2 hours, said he had a family emergency and he would either be back or someone else would come. He returned about 2 1/2 hours later. They installed 4 cameras, when the lead guy was doing the work inside he damaged the paint on the wall and left scrap material on the floor. When he was connecting the cameras to the monitor box he found one of the cameras wasn't for the system we purchased, that camera was disconnected and we were told they would be back the next day to install the correct camera. Over a week later and numerous phone calls we finally got the other camera installed. Darren told us the installer would show us how to use the system but the installer didn't know apparently and said Darren would show us. Again, repeatedly called Darren who never called back or made an appointment to come and didn't show up. We ended up going to the store again and spoke to Darren. He didn't even know how the system works. A another customer came in while we were there asking for his refund because he was double charged. The cameras were paid in full before installed due to payment required on installation and it was processed on the date of the supposed first date. 2 months later we get an invoice for the camera they had to replace and installation of the camera. We didn't make the mistake, Skyview did then tried to charge us for it. This is the shadiest company we have ever dealt with. Darren makes excuses, blames other people and has no idea what customer service is.

    We bought a 75" Samsung tv about 18 months ago. The Tv started flashing so Samsung said…read moreto contact Holdcroft Electronics for repairs. There was no more warrantee on the tv. I got a call about the repair for the powering. Note when the tv stayed on the picture was beautiful. Going forward I was told the repair cost will be about $300.00 by Mark. The tv was brought back and left in the dinning room until I could get help to remount it on the wall. So a couple of days latter it was put back on the wall. Turned it on and half the tv is really dark. I called Mark at Holdcroft and he told me that sometimes these things happen in transporting the tv from his shop to the customers home. Then he asked for a picture so I sent it. He told me that some lamps are out and I would need to pay him another 300 to get it fixed!!! Any lawyers out there???

He said he had never seen this before and it couldn't be that. Told me he doesn't know what the problem is but if you replace the light engine that would fix the problem. Well there are 3 major components to the TV and the light eng. is $800 the others around $200... I wasn't going to blow $800 on a 5yr old TV. I was fine with the $70 service call but he charged me $30 labor fee for taking off 3 screws on the top right corner to peer inside. ( took 10 secs ) BS SO i waited a bit, finally got pissed off at the screen. Did some more goggling and found out it was the vertical/horizontal adjustment and just did it my fucking self. ( Perfect Picture ) I would not use them again....

    Reason for visit :My husband needed a new laptop charger…read more Went to store asked clerk . Clerk advised he needed to know the laptop model as we did not we drove home and brought it back Entered store and his college said to me he could not look it up by model number he needed the actual laptop ! Well I should of bee told to bring in the actual laptop ! Which is strange I bought in the past laptop chargers and never was told bring in the entire laptop ( but thats okay ) He did not want to be bothered to look it up on his computer and I insisted ! then when the initial sales clerk came he then changed the story and said he asked he did ask me for the model number if I was in the store but said he told me to bring in the entire laptop ! WHat a liar !!!!!!! But he decided to make an elaborate scene to impress the other college . I told him to stop it and move on ! Because I know you cant debate with a LIAR !!!! They looked it up he came back and he started to go on to impress his colleague next to him the same thing !!! Trying to belittle me ! I finally got mad and said , " I told you just to move on so I can complete my purchase and since you continue I want to let you know I will be going live on facebook to show how you deal with customers " He immediately stopped !!!!!! Unimpressed with the lies and the low professionalism experience today !

    Went to the Oshawa location on black Friday to purchase a GPU. After waiting in line my brother and…read moreI showed our phones which had the ad for the GPU open to the employee behind the counter. After looking at the ad, the employee grabbed our two GPUs and brought them to the counter behind the cash. After having the GPUs placed in a bag and only then put on the checkout counter we were able to pay. After purchasing the GPUs we walked outside and quickly took the boxes out of the bags. To our surprise the GPUs we had been given were not the ones we had asked for. After returning to the store not even 2 minutes later were told by several employees including the manager Dan S, that we would not be able to return our items until after the weekend had ended. Absolutely ridiculous rule considering we had not been allowed to hold or even look at the product until after checkout. The only reason they get 2 stars is because there was no hassle when returning the GPUs.
