I feel really under appreciated as a customer by this Best Buy. The Geek squad here please be cautious, they do not care about you or your products that need repairing. As well as they won't update you with notifications or give a simple call back with the extension x2111 that they provide for you. It's a shame that this store has employees that work for them to fix high cost products and leave the customer in the unknown of when the product is fixed and when it is arriving and when it is ready for pick up. If you can save time by sending in your repairs online if possible. They do not care here at all. My product was sitting in their storage and no one contacted me, I had to get updates from Apple directly and I called corporate Best Buy to complain. I am having printer problems. I had someone from Best Buy tech support tunnel into my computer to try and fix the printer issue. She worked on it for 2 hours to no avail. So I took it to the store, the tech said they needed the laptop to try and work on it. (he did say they don't work much on wifi printers). So I set up another appointment for this afternoon. When I took the laptop to them, the person behind the counter, (different from the one earlier), said matter of factly, they DONT work on wifi printers at the store because the security of their wifi will not allow for it. I have seen this particular person behind the counter before and the way he has treated customers. He is EXTREMELY NON EMPATHETIC!!! He is very dry and matter of fact. Not even saying he's sorry the company policy doesn't allow it. Just simply, "company policy". I'm sure he'd like to add "not my problem". So I've spent all this time driving back and forth from the store only to find out, even though I'm a member who pays almost $300 a year for a membership, it will cost me another $100 for the Geek Squad to come to my home and try to fix it. If they can't fix it, there is no charge, but if they can, it's an extra $100. I didn't get angry, but the level of frustration built up pretty high so i told this young man how I felt about his attitude. He never blinked. How does someone like this continue to work at a place of business where you have to speak to people most every day? I would have given only one star. I would give 0 stars if I could. I never thought I would be on here complaining, but here we are. I recently got a record player for Christmas and when I tried to set it up the power cord was missing. Keep in mind that I am paying $200 a year for the warranty on the record player. I went back to this Best Buy and tried to file a claim. They kept trying to fit a cord to see if they had one available and they didn't. The guy that helped us suggested trading the whole thing in for one that did come with a cord. That option went out the window when the manager told him no. Then, he suggested that we go buy one at Walmart. Now, why should I have to go buy a power cord for my record player when the power cord was supposed to come in the box. Now, I understand that they most likely don't check every item to make sure that all the pieces are in there, but SERIOUSLY?! They couldn't even compensate us for a stinking cord. We asked what the warranty, that we are paying $200 a year for, is supposed to cover and they said, "It only covers if the item is broken or impaired, not if pieces are missing." What the actual hell? So, it's my fault that you sold me a record player that was missing parts? Okay. Earlier that day, I had asked an employee about a power cord coming with the record player and he said he had bought the same exact product and it had come with a power cord. Jordan Faith is the best! While the corporate Best Buy gave us the "run-around" for a month over either repairing/replacing the $2K+ stove we purchased three years ago (under extended warranty), Jordan was a champ in getting everything fairly settled. I had been on the phone for hours at a time for over two-three weeks trying to get some help with a stove that BB couldn't seem to get a repair person to fix. We finally went INTO the store where we met and were helped by Jordan. She took our information and was herself on the phone with corporate for almost two hours. When we left, we had the issue resolved to our satisfaction. Thank you Jordan Faith for taking on the burden and resolving our service problems. When a customer drops a major amount of money on a stereo, double check that you will install said stereo when all parts arrive, and told yes, and you intentionally omit the fact that your store doesn't have a qualified installer to install the stereo.... you Best Buy are a major Piece of Sh*t!!! I called Best Buy Geek Squad and they took my information and my call back number. I visited Best Buy today to purchase an "audio splitter" (I initially called it a double headphone thing-a-majiggy to keep my two children quiet) when asked what I needed. Upon entering the store I was greeted by two Associates and they immediately knew what I was looking for from my pantomime and made up audio technical terms. One Associate called back to another on the floor who walked up to take me to where the audio splitters were located, and the product was exactly what I needed. During checkout, the Associate asked for my Best Buy Rewards information which also saved me $5.00 on the price of the item. While this is the "SMALLEST" Best Buy I have ever had the pleasure of shopping in, I can happily say this was one of the most rewarding experiences. Walked in to make a purchased and the employees working were there not to be found. Walked by the registers and employee was on his phone, no acknowledgment given. Staff are more often visiting with each other than helping customers. They often have no idea where items are in the store, and check their phones to find out. We purchased an iWatch, and had to go find someone to help. He went to the supply of iWatches, checked us out, and as we were walking out we found that he had sold us the wrong one. Another ten minutes lost while another person went to get the right watch and take the return item, process the new one. And at no time in the process did any of the employees ask if we had a USB-C adapter, a necessary item for the watch. The first time i came the guy told me $50 for computer set up, brought in everything, but something was wrong with the parts so i had to reorder new parts. He told me when i get the new parts just bring it back and they can try set up again. Today i came in with the same computer with the new parts and this other guy tells me its $200 to put it together. Wtf? How surprise am I? review for GEEK SQUAD Ok, ya'll I've been to several other Geek Squads before and have never had an experience like this. First off, I had called earlier in the week and explained what was going on with my computer and the people said, well you need to come in. I said, "ok, thats no problem, I was just wanting to make sure before I drove the 2 hours (thats the closest one to me)." So I mad an appointment for 11:20am for Sunday (today). So I got to the Geek Squad at 11am which I knew it was still early and I was ok waiting, but not for 15 minutes after my appointment time. Minor detail, whatever. BUT... the guy working behind the counter, no people skills. He looked at my computer and just kept saying "yeah thats a problem" or "yeah thats not good" uh... no shit dude thats why I brought it here. Then he just stood there staring at me without saying anything. Weird yes. So then he went off and helped someone else and then came back to me... uh rude. THEN he comes back and says "well I will see if we can send it to the manufacture otherwise you will have to" then just stood there again. So I said... "so are you going to take care of it and get my information?" About 3 minutes passes and he walks to his computer, takes all my info and says you have to contact the manufacture. Not a big deal, except the fact that he stood there holding my computer just looking at me. Uh... instead of standing there, maybe give me my computer back so I can leave? It was seriously the most unproductive morning. So I drove 4 hours round trip for a guy to tell me "yeah that's not good" and then awkwardly stare at me. I paid for total tech support (geek squad) which was approx. $200 and then I paid $99.98 to have 2 tv's hung on my walls in my house, I took of a day at work and waited, at the end of the day, I rec'd a call from tech with all incorrect information, stating my appt had been rescheduled, and to make a long story short, my tv's didn't get hung, the tech (Michael) lied, and I was told by a best buy employee, that he feels because he's the only one that can hang the tv's that he feels he's better than the customers and that he can do as he feels. Well I got my refund on my tech support, but still have not rec'd my refund on the installation. Hopefully Best Buy will find a better tech company because Geek Squad really don't give a hoot about the customer or Best Buy's name and reputation. read more

I went in to get a screen protector, they failed to inform me they installed locally so when i took it home to install it it tore. i took it back and wanted an exchange no big deal right, well now im informed that they install it locally in store and i must have refused so they wouldn't refund me, i told them i was never informed of any such thing and they were going to exchange it. a manager came out and offered me a refund i took it, and then said id like to use that money to buy the exact same item. She SLAMMED the register shut. things escalated from there and i was so angry with how i was treated i took my money and left. Don't use Best Buy geek squad. Find a computer repair shop elsewhere. I brought my PC in for repairs after calling their office and asking if they offered the service I needed. They gladly told me. Yea we can run a diagnostic on your PC no problem. So I take my PC into the store and was directed to there "geek" squad service. The lady at the counter was super rude and disrespectful. After about 10 minutes of setting up an account which I did online before when I set up the appointment (which btw I told her and she never bothered looking it up.) She grabbed the tech. He told me there was nothing he could do because they have a policy about not touching motherboards. When I told him I called ahead to find out if they offer the service he said you talked to the wrong person. Long story short if you need any services done to your PC just take it elsewhere and save yourself the time. read more

Store is good, found good headphones. They work great. Very kindly cashier at checkout, and helpful employee who guided me to where headphones were to be found in the store. If you go online to shop from Best Buy, I don't recommend Best Buy Marketplace items tho because they use third party suppliers, and guess what? If your item is defective when you receive it, you are out of luck. Best Buy will not accept the defective item as a return at one of their retail stores. You have to pay shipping charges to send it back to the third party retailer, even if the item is defective as soon as you receive it in the mail. For an $8 purchase, it just didn't make sense for me to pay several dollars to ship it back. So just a word to the wise. read more

we bought a computer last June in San angelo. We were dealing with a young man, when another idiot walked up and took over. We told them we wanted a three year warranty. Our fault because we trusted this place. Today we find out we paid for only one year, and that was for "breakage of keyboard, and one year webroot". We have called and tried to talk to them, but nothing. They also supposedly changed our address in their computers since we had recently moved. Well that didn't happen either. There is an employee that went above and beyond to help my 70 year old dad. Her name is Grace. She was so kind and patient. He was nervous and confused and she made sure to get him the proper set up for his flip phone. She even helped him enter his contacts. Larry, the manager at this location is just one of the many reasons why Best Buy is a dinosaur in today's electronics world. I bought an open box TV at this location, but before I made the purchase I asked the salesman why it was at open box pricing. His reply was "not too sure, this one is barely marked down so I'm assuming someone just didn't want it. It's definitely good though." Well once I lugged it up to my third floor apartment and took the TV out of the box I noticed there was no controller. Before I brought it back I called the store to see if they had the controller or if they could replace it. Larry got on the phone and said he wasn't going to do anything about it because the foot long receipt said that it was missing a controller. I told him I hadn't read the entire receipt as I was carrying the TV out to my truck. Taking the salesman at his word that the TV was fine was admittedly my mistake. However, I also put blame on Larry for an obvious training issue as well as his smug attitude (which he had in the store again when I made the return)towards taking care of the customer. This is another reminder why I haven't purchased anything from Best Buy in years, and never will again. read more
