Awesome and so tasty! We had the platter for 2 and it could feed 3 to 4 people. They are so generous with the salad, bread, dips and man...the meat! It was all so tasty. The meats are charcoally grilled and are moist and flavourful. Service was great too! Definitely check this place out!

This place was last reviewed in 2011! Craziness, as this is the best Kebab House I've every been too! It should have a lot more reviews! So normally I don't like when businesses put "Best" or other superlatives in their name, as it strikes me as a little pretentious. This place however, had the chops to not just do so, but back up their claim. So we headed here before one of those nefariously good Yelpie events in the area. As Alex always said, light bites only (which didn't apply to the Yelp! does Ping Pong event) but if we'd know the amount of food and drink there, we'd probably have given this place a miss for the worse. The place itself is unassuming. Close to the station, you'll see it by the bright blue sign. Upon entering, the place looks like quite a nice shisha bar. It's definitely not your typical sit-down kebab shop with the wobbly tables and general greasy surfaces. Prices seem to have risen/normalised since 2010-11. The price for eating in is actually the same or similar to take-away. That said, kebabs are in the range of £8-13. With other things like turkish pizza around £3.50. The doner lamb house special was amazing. All too often, you're served up greasy suspect looking meat. However this meat was excellent. Relatively lean, tasty with little oil. Served with turkish bread, the only qualms I had were the bread wasn't warm. But that was minor. The meat was fantastic. The Chicken Shish looked even better. Giant chunks of chicken. Charred to perfection. With lots of salad to cut through the grease. The meat is nicely put atop a thin piece of tortilla wrap. A nice touch and prevents oil from splashing around the plate (not that there's a lot of it in the first place!)There's a signature taste to the meats here that I would probably recognise over other places. This isn't to say the place is perfect. Their chilli sauce could be hotter. There could be a larger selection of drinks, but these are personal preferences. If you want to try a really really good kebab, this place will satisfy. I will be back to try more things. Plus they have footie on the tv, which makes it really hard to leave mid-game, when Chelsea are losing against Everton! (disclaimer: I'm an Arsenal fan)

I've visited turkey in the past and im a kebab enthusiast. Never have I ever found a kebab place in London that can exactly match the quality and taste just like in turkey. The grill is incredible, flavors are deliciously intense. I have decided my fate as a regular.

The only beer in the house. It's good!

The "Best" in the name is completely accurate! Best kebab I have ever had. I lived in Fulham for 6…read moremonths some years ago and would get the seasoned ground lamb kebab here at least one night a week. I recently returned while on a short trip to London and the kebab was just as delicious as I remembered. You can dine in or take away - make sure to ask for all the vegetable and sauce toppings on the kebab. It may seem a little pricey for one kebab but you get a ton of meat etc and if you can manage some self control and only eat half of it, it is a viable next-day lunch leftover option. The guys working the counter were always super nice as well!

I was about to take a moment to consider the vagaries of fate, when I saw a banner over the windows proclaiming: Best Mangal! I nearly squeed out loud. My husband and I have been trekking across the entire length of North End Road to West Ken for the past 3 years for the best Turkish kebab joint in all of London. And now, like the mountain to Mohammed, the Best Mangal had come to us in Fulham! Here's the deal: it's good, it's better than good, it's a stratosphere above the average kebab. Less than a tenner gets you an amazing lamb beyti, with heaping salad (delish in its own right!) and bread basket. Chicken donor is actually pretty lovely as well--didn't expect that! Looks like a takeaway, but there is a lovely restaurant portion with a garden patio where you can go for some hookah action if so inclined. Maybe when the weather is milder? The staff are so nice and shake hands when we come in--that could be because we went 3 times in one week when they first opened. =) Btw, hands down, better than the lousy Lebanese restaurant across the way. Just sayin'. Shame about us moving to Clapham...I reckon if the Best Mangal banner had appeared before we signed the papers, we might have had to reconsider leaving Fulham. In any case, we still trek, but this time across the river for some mouthwateringly delicious kebabs. What's even better is that the lure of a Best Mangal dinner gets me to David Lloyds at least once a week! Two birds! Anyway, if you're in Clapham, Fulham or Putney, make your pilgrimmage now. You'll not regret it. Promise. And you may even see us there!

We ordered take away and were out with our shawarma in under 5 minutes. It was not very flavorful, though, or moist. It did the trick, but I've had much better. Lamb is a lot bigger in London and other areas of the world and I wanted to eat as much of it as possible. I ended up ordering 1 Shwarma and it was a good size, but for someone like me I ended up ordering 2 just to make sure I was getting the full experience. I believe on the second one I got it mixed between both lamb and chicken. Both meats packed in a ton of flavor. I came in for lunch shortly after they had opened and the place was not to busy. I did sit at the bar and was able to watch the cooks prep for the day and slice the meats really well. They do fresh fruit juices here and they were cutting and juicing some of the fruits when I was visiting. They smelled amazing! I did not have any fruit juice but kind of wish I did just by the smells alone. I highly recommend this place and recommend the flavors of Beirut!
