Approach comes the aggressive salesman after answering a few questions from me, said I wasn't serious in buying a mattress. Last Sunday, but my wife and I went into your location on Blue Diamond. We are in desperate need for a bed, but since I am out of work we are on a budget. Me and my husband went into the blue diamond store today at around 11:30. Personally, I prefer people do not jump in to my face the minute I walk into a store. I understand that how it works for salespeople, However I find it annoying. We picked up our little sheets to lay on and proceeded to look at the beds. John Came up to us with the best sales pitch I have ever heard. He basically asked if we wanted help or if we wanted him to leave us alone so we can look in peace. I found it funny and I told him what I was looking for. He steered us to what I was looking for. He showed us a couple other beds and let's be honest, it's a bed I really don't need to be there all day. Me and my husband agreed on a bed, John got us the 0% financing for 12 months. Then he told us he's going to get us same-day shipping and they'll take our old bed. So the whole buying process took us about 1/2 an hour. It was perfect. I found John to be a good salesperson without being pushy. There's nothing I hate that when I go look for some thing and everything I look at or touch is the sales person's favorite. The delivery was very reasonable and I was able to pick which day I wanted it delivered. We bought a Beautyrest black mattress set from Mattress Firm in Henderson back in September, and while the gentleman was friendly, he didn't give my husband and I much guidance on selecting a mattress set that fit both of our very different body types. I've never had back pain before, but as the months went by I began to notice that I was having residual upper back pain. By the time I realized it was the new mattress causing the problem, it was too late to return to the store. The Beautyrest black line is not cheap, so I did everything else I could to alleviate my back pain- chiropractic, massage, different pillows, foam mattress pads, etc.- but nothing helped. I was at a loss for what to do next, because I didn't want to buy another new mattress to find out it didn't help or made the problem worse. This is when John from Best Mattress came into the picture. My husband went up to this store to pick up a box spring for our guest room and John was the one who helped him out. My husband happened to mention to John that I was having back pain from our mattress and John asked a little bit more about the mattress, my size, and when the problem started. He immediately said to my husband, "it sounds like the counter pressure from the coils are the culprit." Hubs explained that the current mattress was great for him, but since our sizes and sleeping styles are so different the mattress was a really big problem for me. John suggested we try a Tempur-pedic. So Lance brought me in the next morning to lie on it. We both quickly realized that this is probably one of the few mattresses that would work for both of our bodies- soft enough for my side-sleeping needs and petite frame, but enough low back support for him. John helped us get a great deal on the floor model so we ended up paying about the same as we did for our beautyrest. I'm happy to report that John's assessment was right on the money! Hubs and I both slept great last night, and my back is pain free for the first time in six months. I'm so relieved my husband chose to get the box spring from that store otherwise we might have never figured this out. Last but definitely not least, the box spring hubs bought the night before was delivered first thing yesterday morning, then our new set was delivered later that day- the very same day we bought it. This store has excellent customer service, and we will be going to see John for any future mattress purchases. read more

After receiving a sale advertising flyer in the mail, we went to check out the Queen mattress we needed for our guest bedroom. Since it won't be used too often, we wanted an inexpensive but good quality budget mattress. John was a very entertaining salesperson - I told him he reminded me a lot like Will Ferrell! He didn't push and recommended another mattress than the one we came in for as it was firmer and cost only $50 more. We decided to purchase the latter. The bed was delivered the very next day with no delivery charge and they hauled away our old bed (we tipped the movers). I think our purchase was made in less than 20 minutes!
