Terrible!! Do not give this place business. My daughter and I went at 4 pm they WERE NOT busy. They turned us away because they thought they would be busy at 5 pm. Ridiculous. Not to mention in absolutely reeked of an off putting incense smell. read more

Pedicure: 5 stars. This is the most important aspect in my opinion. I got a standard pedi and I felt like they took their time, gave me a nice little leg massage and the polish looked great. As with many small nail salons appointments mean nothing. I arrived with my sister for two pedis and waited over 45 minutes to get into a chair and another 15 minutes for someone to start. If you have a time crunch you may want to go elsewhere or plan ahead. Customer service is where Best Nails really falls short. When we walked in no one greeted us. Typically at other salons someone will say hello and let you know how long you will be waiting. No one even looked up when we arrived which may account for why we had to wait so long following out scheduled appointment time. read more

I keep trying to give this place a chance because they're the only half- ok place in Crawfordsville to get your nails done.... They suck. Every time I walk in the place they're "so busy" .... hardly ever have anyone in there waiting, or getting anything done! An example, this morning. I came in at 9:20 and 2 ladies just sitting there but they can't do my nails. They told me they're super busy and they didn't have a single client. I went to Best Nails on a Ladies' Day with a few of my girlfriends. It was the only place in Crawfordsville that had enough chairs for us all to sit and have a pedi together. We did all have to laugh when they were using a pumice stone on our feet, then one of the employees pulled out something that looked similar to a cheese grater to use on my friend's feet. She told the employee that it hurt, but the employee told her that it needed to be done and kept at it. It is not the cleanest, nicest place I've ever been to, but they got the job done and my nails looked great afterward! read more

I have to agree with Stephanie W. I had an appointment last night at 5:00 p.m., and I was like 1 minute late. The chairs were full for nails but they were well into it, so there was no way 1 minute late made a difference. I waited until 5:30, and finally had to give it up because I had another appointment at 6:00 p.m. If I had gotten in right away at 5, it wouldn't have been a problem. What's the use of an appointment, if it's not honored. I have been there one other time, and it was great. I will give them one more try. read more

I keep giving this place another try. I had an appointment again today and again I was made to wait. The last time I had an appointment I had to wait over an hour I'm writing this review as I'm waiting to get into my appointment that I scheduled yesterday morning for 9:30 it is now 9:45 and there's four techs and four people being serviced this is after they took a lady before me. What is the use of making an appointment if you are made to wait had I known this I would of went some place else. This will be the last time I come here. It just keeps getting better I was asked to take a seat and so was another lady but hey guess what I was made to wait again. Why would you schedule six people at the same time. The lady are very nice, they do a great job. They are very very busy so you may have to wait a little while but worth it.

My friend and I went here last week for fora girls day. We both got pedicures. We left and a few days later BOTH of our toe nails started throbbing. We cannot wear closed toed shoes without being in pain and it hurts to put any pressure on the foot at all. We also talked to another friend who got a pedi there about 6 months ago and is still not fully recovered from an infection in her toe nails. This place obviously doesn't sanitize correctly and people are leaving with bad infections! Be causious! We love The Shop salon and spa in crawfordsville now! read more

This place is horrible. They are incredibly unsanitary, and my nails always looked horrible after leaving there. Once VIP Nails opened, I never looked back at Best Nails, except for one unfortunate event when I left with wavy acrylics.. and then went to VIP to get them fixed. Never go there! read more

Damage to toe! I had a pedicure there, and it hurt!! I've had trouble with my big toe ever since. The person dug into the skin on the side of my toe, and it hurts most of the time. It damaged that toe and now it's always in-grown. I'm going to have to go to a podiatrist to see if it can be fixed. Not sure how I'll be able to wear closed toe shoes without pain. I called Best Nails today and asked if their employees are trained. They said no! Yikes. There should be requirements for licensing - scary. read more
