I was having noise/grinding in the rear end of my Ford F150. My technician, Kaleb, met me at 800am on the drop off day. He drove the car with me to ensure he heard what I was hearing. After I left, they performed an 80 point inspection. The results of the inspection identified things that were wrong and needed immediate fix. It also identified "should haves" based on mileage and timing. The text allow me to "accept" or "decline" the service. I phoned for clarification on one item and was given a thorough explanation. I authorized them to perform the tasks I needed most. I received a call at 430pm that night indicating my car was done. I will be going back to Solomon's for future car repair needs.

This place is an absolute joke. I took my 2018 Honda Civic in to get minor body work done. Two door…read morehandles and a mirror on the passenger side had chipping paint (this was the main reason I took the car in, because the chipping was obvious and an eye sore) and the rear bumper had minor damage. They took pictures of each area of my car and called me back two days later with a quote of ~$1300 (The quote includes front door, mirror, rear door, and bumper which I posted below) well when I took the car in, they called me a few hours later and said, actually the rear bumper needs replaced, even though their was nearly zero visual damage (so I agreed to have it replaced, since the up charge was only around $150). When the car was "finished", I went in to pick it up, and come to find out they only repaired/repainted the front door handle, mirror and bumper, and said they forgot to do the other door handle, but they would give me an estimate for the other door handle, even though it was part of the original estimate. I called back and was told your estimate was to replace a piece of plastic on the rear door handle and that the Carstar representative saw the paint chips during the repair process and probably should have called to let me know (despite them taking pictures when I originally took it in and having it on the original estimate). How was the rear door handle in the original quote if they didn't know it needed repaired? Because they lied! Stay away from this place. Update. The "manager" contacted me 5/15/23 worried about the negative review/s they received on different platforms, made zero attempt to make the situation right, then called back and left a voicemail stating it had nothing to do with the negative review, then proceeded to talk about the review for the remaining 45 seconds of the voicemail). During the conversation I had with the manager he changed the story, now that they do have a picture of the rear door handle, but only replaced a small piece of plastic (they told me and my wife Thursday they had no pictures). The reason they changed their lie is because why did the do anything to the rear door handle if they had no picture, so they had to change that lie. I have attached a picture of the door handle. This is the door handle they chose to replace the small piece of plastic (circled in red), but not see or repair the obvious chips, despite having it in the estimate. I would ask anyone, how could you see the 1.5" piece of plastic, but miss the 7" door handle right next to it with the same exact problem. Best case this company is completely incompetent. But I believe this company is unethical and will screw you if given the opportunity.
