Nothing is more upsetting then being from out of town (Wilmington, NC) and developing "truck noises" the day before you are suppose to head back home. Not knowing garages around here, My Sister-In-Law recommend Solomon's, based on their award for integrity in business. Well not only did they clear their schedule to look over our vehicle, and gave us an "all good" after putting it on a lift and checking for possible issues, but they didn't charge us anything for this service. This is my second time in a month taking my car to Solomon's! The customer service is great, they worked around my schedule and made sure my car was ready to go before I had to leave for work each day! After my initial inspection they informed me of some routine maintenance I was behind on and some that I was due to have done soon, and I got lucky enough to catch them having a special, which saved me hundreds of dollars! I always worry about being taken advantage of when I take my car to a shop, but I am at ease knowing that Solomon's is taking good care of my car and giving me what I need at a reasonable rate. You can find other places that will do the work cheaper but in the long run you'll pay for it. Solomon's does a complete job and send you with a list of upcoming to-dos for your vehicle. Recently had Canadian friends in West Liberty to visit for a few days. The day after they arrived, their Toyota Rav 4 wouldn't start and was towed to Solomon's Garage. Although their schedule was full, they made time to diagnose and repair the vehicle. We were updated on the repair progress and our friends were able to leave town at their scheduled time. This time Dave, one of the owners, drove my car and heard the strange noise.. he put my car on the rack he and then showed me it was a very simple inexpensive fix. I was only charged for his labor. First they listened. I told them what the problems were with my car and they were able to duplicate them. Second they diagnosed all the problems I knew of and then some. Showed pictures of what could be photographed, and detailed what needed immediate attention, and what could wait. Third they gave me a accurate estimate and time that my vehicle would be done.
